Some of the rooms are noisy and bedding not adequate

Was a problem with 1 of the rooms double bed up against wall couldn't walk around, was very good gave us another room, was our room in first place as gave us the key . Turned out not quite ready but all sorted

Very basic, needed a good of paint and a good clean.
There was 3 people in our room, only one glass. No tea bags and trying to explain that I needed tea bags was an ordeal!!
We were there for 4 nights and no clean cups offered.
Will not be back

Value and cleanliness

They tried to charge me for parking when there’s plenty of free parking on the estate. The building is a bit dated are requires updating.

There were no bedside lamps and the shower curtain wasn't suitable for the space, trailing in the shower base and catching water.

Large car park, although doesn't state that you have to pay for it upon arrival as a separate part of the bill, until after the booking.

Cleanliness was absolutely not a strong point. Not even a mid point. The dust was so thick on the walls and flooring that I genuinely don't think it had been hoovered or cleaned in a while. They do have people cleaning there, as we heard them. But this room needed a lot of attention.

Tried to upsell into other room for bath.

15-20 minute walk to the shops.

Dusty, dirty all down side of bed. Strange vibe. Extension sockets plugged into each other. The room stank of newly sprayed room spray to cover-up some sort of smell. ? Urine.

Refused to give refund after giving me unhabitable room. Very very very poor customer service. Uncomfortable bed, Broken ancillaries in room. Broken heating. Gave me no alternatives forcing me to go to another hotel for the night and then tried to lie about notifying me of this. Charges for parking and do not tell you in advance. Refused to cooperate with me when I complained about the state of the room I was given.

Bathroom stunk of urine, wasn’t very nice at all made the room smell of it.
The pillows were so thin had to bend them over on themselves just to feel like there was something to lay my head on.
The tv had no Ariel whatsoever so we couldn’t watch tv, went to reception to tell them this and they told us to ring a number, rang it and it wouldn’t even go through. In the morning when we left we realised the Ariel was hidden behind the bed? Why? We moved it so the next guest doesn’t have this issue.
The heating was turned on but made absolutely no difference to the cold temperature.

Rock hard bed .

People making noise, in the middle of the night. Dirty carpets . Many drunks made it hard to sleep and got woken up 3/4 times by loud banging.

The room is not dirty, but in a state of disrepair, peeling paintwork, broken kettle etc.
Walls are very thin.
