Very bad experience with the bed I couldn't sleep

The ceiling leaking from bathroom above. Carpet was wet. Ceiling stained so obviously happened before. Stained towel. We eventually were moved to a smaller room. No expelair in first room or main light.
In 2nd room very loose towel rack and taps - no hot water in sink.

I booked two nights. I couldn’t make my first night as my trains were cancelled. I let them know and asked if i could move my stay, they said no. Okay businesses have to protect their profits. I figured out I could still make it for the second night and emailed to let them know I intended to check in that evening. I received a friendly email back saying that was fine my room was still being held. Arrived to a sheet of paper on the check in desk with a list of names and room numbers (which also made me uncomfortable, anyone knowing what room you’re in?) saying go to your room the key is in the door. Again just doesn’t feel secure walking into a room that’s been unlocked the whole time. Anyway my name was not on the list, I called for someone and they told me it was because I was marked as a no show. They said however they would give me someone else’s room. Then they showed me to a tiny single bed room. I said I paid for a double room. I’m okay sleeping in the single room but can I have a refund for the difference in price? ‘It’s because you emailed us too late’ ‘I received an email saying my room was being held, I paid for a double room’ eventually I was shown to a double room. With that, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower was either freezing or boiling no in between. I just would not stay here again. It’s cheap but not cheap enough for the experience. I want to stress that I don’t really write bad reviews, but small details like names and room numbers just being left in the entryway for anyone pushed it for me.

I didn’t like the cleanliness of the room it was disgusting from the bedroom to the toilet, I was even bitten by something and had marks on my skin the toilet wasn’t clean it had piss stains and the room was very dusty. I had to change hotels and waste so much money due to this when I wanted to make a report or complaint nobody was at the desk so I had to leave. And to top it all off someone tried to enter my room as my room was on the ground floor by the reception….

No microwave.
