Staff very helpful, friendly and courteous
'Petite' room lived up to its name! Just OK for us, but overweight or tall people might struggle. Lift only starts on 1st. floor.

Room we were in was very very small (which we knew but still smaller even than we thought.) Saturday night you could hear loud music from I guess next door until 3 am which was rough.

Great location, Fabulous room . Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. Quirky hotel with an abundance of character and a great collection of decorative oddities. I felt like there was a personalised experience and staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The location is brilliant, and the every single member of staff we encountered were a credit to the hotel. It is very quirky, fun and vibrant. We didn't experience noise issues, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The jazz bar underneath was a delight.
Just be aware that when you book the petite rooms, they really are TINY. For two people, it got quite uncomfortable to move around - especially in the little shower. We knew it would be small when we booked, but would really only recommend those rooms for single occupants.

Hux is a quiet haven. Decor is dramatic and, so long as you don’t mind taxidermi, fun and colourful. I loved it. My room was at the back of the property, so wonderfully quiet!
