What a great hotel!

Everything was perfect for a boys trip for dad and 18 year old son.

Great location close to the main shopping area and lifts but also a nice quiet spot.

We’ll be returning next year with the rest of the family.

Breakfast was an amazing buffet - the cheese table was astounding, filled with local Zermatt and Swiss cheeses.

Good location and quiet area of town. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Ski room at the entrance to the hotel so well located. Great breakfast from 7.00am. Staff excellent and very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Room was comfortable location was great. Short walk to main drag, Gornagot, and Sunnegga. I was with a group but needed to get my own space and this worked perfectly. Price was good considering I planned most of my time outside of the room. Room comfortable and staff extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good. good ski shop to rent skis and boards 100 m away. Convenient room for storing equipment and not tracking in snow and dirt. Boot heater was a plus.

Great location if traveling by train to the airport. Close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel staff were helpful with restaurant recommendations. Comfortable bed.

This is the second year in a row we stayed at this hotel. It is convenient located a few minutes walk from Sunnega and the center of Zermatt. Great service, very charming hotel, always spotlessly clean, and best of all, a fabulous breakfast. I will highly recommend it.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Zermatt, look no further! We stayed for 6 nights for a ski vacation and the hotel was absolutely perfect and suited all of our needs. The room was a very good size, and the beds are very comfortable (always a plus on a ski trip). We opted for a room with a view of the Matterhorn and it was truly incredible to wake up to that every morning. The location was so convenient to everything in town, including the quick and easy walk to the ski lift. The ski storage room with the boot heaters was also very convenient for the end of the day! The fireplace in the lobby gave it such a warm and cozy atmosphere as well! Not only is the hotel itself excellent, but the staff there truly made the stay such an enjoyable experience. They were very friendly, always happy to help, and very knowledgeable about the town and gave great recommendations. I would definitely stay here again and world recommend it to anyone taking a trip to Zermatt!

We had a great stay at the Hotel Phoenix. The rooms are pleasant and very clean. Some have views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was good too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked directly with the hotel and communication was excellent throughout.
Location is great for access to the Sunnegga Funicular. While not in the centre of town, it is however an easy walk to the train station and main shopping area. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, few minutes walk to the Sonnegga station, nice place, ski room at the entrance, huge gym and the ideal buffet breakfast for us.

I'll summarize first: I can't wait to go back to Zermatt, and we'll definitely stay at Hotel Phoenix. The location was great, easy walking into the center city area, to the access points to ski for the day etc. The room was wonderful, VERY clean, and the overall atmosphere was spot on. The breakfast was ready to go every day by 7:30am, plentiful...just well done overall. I have to say though, the staff really made a difference. From management to the cleaning staff, everyone was extremely helpful, informative, friendly...on and on. Having the ski gear room, with a wall of boot warmers and ski racks was a nice bonus
