Our keys were kept as per the instructions as we came in the middle of the night
I informed the hotel that I am coming very late. Hotel asked me to email the ?Credit Card number and the driver's licence. This is not done in practice. But due to the urgency I did. Also I selected this place to park my car. when I came in the middle of the night I found that the car park was full and and I had to park my car in the street which was unsafe. Also there was no mentioning in limited car spaces.
spacious room
Only 2 pillows, hot water system was slow and noisy, blanket was dirty from the wardrobe, air conditioner was old and without cover, bathroom tiles and shower glass and surrounds were old rusted and dirty.
Quite run down
handy to the airport
The Grand Prix was on and all central locations were full or had doubled their prices, or more. The Brunswick Tower was still reasonable. I loved the location, in the vibrant restaurant area of Brunswick, only a short ride by public transport to the CBD, or a very pleasant walk. The room wasn't large but was perfect for a short city stay. There was a small fridge and tea and coffee facilities, which were appreciated.
Nothing, it was all good. There's nothing to do at the hotel but we come to Melbourne to explore the city, not hang out in the room. We were worried it would be too noisy at night to sleep but it wasn't.
na jedną noc i wystarczy
I arrived after reception hours had finished, but the reception staff were aware of my late arrival, and had communicated clearly with me, with plenty of notice, how i could access my room, key etc.
The accommodation was very conveniently located to Sydney Road, and very close to tram stops for #19 tram which go into the CBD of Melbourne. Tram #6 which goes across to Lygon Street, Carlton before going along Swanston Street, into the CBD of Melbourne also has a stop very closeby (same block) to where the accommodation is located. Ready access to public transport in Melbourne is a huge bonus. On Sunday morning, i was able to leave my luggage at reception, in the morning, as my flight back to Brisbane, did not leave until late in the afternoon. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was always hot. While there was no microwave in the room, there was a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities were available.
There are several cafes nearby, and there is also a Woolworths Metro supermarket within a couple of minutes, on foot as well. Car parking space was available, but i did not use it.
Great location for our purposes, close to different types of public transport. Room was basic but comfortable and snug. Bathroom was huge, and the shower had plenty of hot water.
We had a 4 night stay, and though the bins were emptied, there was no other servicing. I didn't expect the towels to be changed, but it would have been nice to have the milk and lavatory paper replaced without asking. The staff were super helpful though when we did request more.
Mily personel, przestronny pokoj, bezplatny parking
W pokoju mrowki, niezbyt czysto, starodawny wystroj
Dirty and old , noisy fan in the bathroom!
Sheets were not clean. Rooms were smelly!
