Our 5th (I think ) stay at The Eastbury and it was our best. All the staff were so lovely and friendly and helpful, room was comfy and clean, breakfast was delicious.
Only for the bar to be open longer, but I understand you have new owners so this will come I assume. Also to be able to get Lattes or cappuccinos instead of standard coffee.
Friendly staff, comfortable room, great location and excellent breakfast.
Overall Lovely, staff were great
Nothing overly negative.
Quite good. Good choice of fruit Excellent scrambled eggs. Nice staff
The hotel has become very shabby. Definitely not worthy of a five star rating. Towels were frayed, wardrobe doors creaked and squeaked. A real lack of maintenance apparent everywhere
Our mattress was so lumpy and uncomfortable that the very kind manager put a duvet under our bottom sheet so that we could get a decent night's sleep
Staff in Reception. Hotel will be so much more inviting once renovations have been done.. had slight feeling of neglect
Good position and quiet
Room far too hot could not open windows to get enough fresh air
Ligging, mooie tuin, parkeren
Brandveiligheid
Location, Garden.
Room smell, no fridge (milk provided was off).
Location is superb, right in the centre of town
breakfast was great and beautifully cooked
only a handheld shower over the bath
Location and pool table. Staff were friendly.
It’s a bit tired now, there were no staff overnight which was concerning if there had been a problem. The restaurant was only open for breakfast and no other time. It seems like a hotel that is on the verge of going bust.
We did like the property
A poor breakfast and I thought I’d booked a room with a bed that was large than a double bed
Excellent location in Sherborne. Staff v friendly and helpful. Comfy bed. Superb breakfast. Lovely garden and outside tables. Pretty drawing room. Table tennis table in the garden and snooker table in the library.
It is undergoing refurb so service for drinks only open when reception is, between 8am and 8pm. However still a great place to stay.
Beautiful hotel with lovely gardens and courtyard.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Have stayed twice now and would definitely stay again.
Nice rooms and helpful staff. Building and gardens nicely presented. Good breakfast. (Additional cost) It's not really what I would call a spa though as these facilities require separate booking and while drinks could be brought out to lounges, bar was not manned for if you came in from meal out after 8pm. It was comfortable and did meet our needs. Possibly need to consider value/price point as it was pricy for what was in the end offered.
Lovely decor and great coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was kitted out with great amenities. Beautiful gardens
Nothing as was all very good and have booked again for a few weeks time
