A 2 ni stay in a beautiful city but I would have changed the convenient location for a better hotel
Pros:

The hotel was centrally located and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They noticed on his passport that it was my husband’sbirthday the following day and arranged a sweet treat to be delivered to our room as a surprise. That is very attentive service

Cons:

Our room was sold as a Premium Room and very comfortable but the colour drenching decor made the room very dark, the lighting only created pools of light that intensified the darkness, very moody and romantic for some but very impractical for finding items on surfaces and navigating the room
Nice to have a fridge but cups could be larger and more stylish ( in my opinion)
The breakfast room was too small and much too cramped for private conversations and comfort. Today, some diners were asked to leave after their table was cleared to allow waiting diners to sit down. Perhaps a timed session, 7-8.30 and 8.30-10 booked beforehand. No porridge, no spare clean cutlery and nowhere to sit!!! A very uncomfortable experience

This is a wonderful hotel with an excellent location. It is very close to the Prado Museum, just across the street. There are many great authentic restaurants with delicious food near the hotel. The Literary Quarter starts right from the square in front of the hotel. All the main attractions are within walking distance.

Cons:

The hotel is wonderful, but the breakfast area is a bit small. If you come to breakfast around 9 a.m., it can be quite crowded and sometimes it is difficult to find a free table, which is a little uncomfortable. However, the staff do their best to help, and the breakfast itself is excellent. The quality of the food and the products is outstanding.

The location of the hotel was amazing — very convenient and in a great area. The staff were absolutely wonderful, very friendly, helpful, and truly amazing people. They made the stay much more pleasant.

However, the room was not very clean, which was disappointing. The facilities were below expectations and quite limited — there were hardly any amenities available.

Overall, the staff were the best part of the experience, but the hotel could definitely improve in terms of cleanliness and facilities.
