Room was good size but not clean and main amenities we were excited to use were unavailable and made stay unpleasant

Booked this hotel mainly for the pool but pool was closed and they did not inform us beforehand about this. We would have stayed closer to our destination if we were aware that this amenity that we paid for was unavailable and staff brushed it off.
