The food was good. The covering assistant manager was great came over had a chat and very good at her job
Building is looking tired, staff over worked not enough of them working especially at breakfast only one
The staff were very welcoming & helpful. The room was very clean & had nearly everything we needed (no tea bags) but the bed was comfy & a great shower. The room was great value for the money. The hotel location was perfect for us to park & get the train direct into London. We had our evening meal in the restaurant & it was spot on good olde traditional food. Would highly recommend & will be our first choice if we need to go back to London. Thank you for a smooth & pleasant stay!

Bikes were outside and not ideal if it rained. A bit nervous about security as the gate was not locked.

There were big delays in the breakfast service for our group of 4. Chef didn’t seem to cope with more than 2 orders at once. Exact same issue for dinner the evening before as well. One order was also wrong & the waitress did not cope well with it or communicate the solution
Nice location - felt quiet and peaceful. Room was generally clean but let down by the mould round the bath.
The restaurant felt a bit grubby at breakfast - tables sticky and crumbs on the tables and floors.
Breakfast was a bit of a letdown. The sourdough bread sounded good but was very tough. The poached eggs were either over or under done (one of each on my plate). The tea and coffee were not good (coffee in particular was stewed).

Bathroom needs painting (ceiling especially) and bringing up to a better standard, scalding hot water,(temperature should be significantly reduced to prevent burning or scalding yourself), shower head needs descaling badly, sink plug hole not very nice with hair and unpleasantness and smell, reception area needs painting and upgrading, outside reception needs better presentation, weeds and litter ruin the appearance and shabby paintwork.
Bed far too soft, needs a medium mattress, uncomfortable sleep due to bad back.
Asked for a rubber bath mat as the bath was very slippery, no grab handles anywhere to get in and out of the bath or shower in case of slipping etc
Little improvements here and there could make this hotel a much nicer experience!!!
Attention to detail - particularly in the bathroom and cleaning.
Short staffed, no-one on reception the majority of the time during the stay, had to call the pub next door to request checking in and for additional items,
But were dealt with quickly.

Very good location, easily to find from the M3. Large car park. I was made to feel very welcome even when arriving late in the evening. All staff were fantastic, both when I arrived and the following morning, not a grumpy face to be seen.
Spacious room, spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Very good quality breakfast.
