Pros:

Staff were lovely and did their best in the heat. Quiet area.

Pros:

This hotel was booked for a one night stay as attending a wedding in the local area.
Reception area could do with a bit of an update/refurb for better first impressions but our room was fully functional, had tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board, hairdryer. It was clean, with a very comfy bed so ticked the boxes on what was required for us that evening.

Pretty well everything. Climb 35 steps to room .no help with luggage. room miles from reception and restaurant. no grab rail or anti slip mat in bathroom. no towel rail. breakfast appalling.

Once again an excellent stay at Raven Hotel.
Pros:

We have used Raven Hotel several times before and find it excellent value for money. Rooms, bed linen and towels spotless. We always feel that we are made welcome on each visit. Parking excellent and safe. Staff very friendly. Breakfast more than adequate with good choice in food.

Cons:

Nothing that I can think of.

Ignorant staff who did not have the customer at heart.
Pros:

Actual room an facilities OK. Staff and customer service was terrible.

Cons:

Lack of attention from staff. Rudeness. Failure to take customer comment in good faith. Surliness is not a god trait for customer facing personnel. Breakfast menu didn't resemble what was delivered.

Good value for money, good location, clean but no frills
Pros:

Good location within walking distance of the train station at Hook and close to Tescos and Boots. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are very good. Clean rooms.

Cons:

The rooms have been refurbished since we last stayed and are better, but feel a bit cramped and have low ceilings. The end result is not a big upgrade. The whole property has an air of lack of maintenance. On our last day in one of our rooms the bath tap would not turn off and would not divert to the shower function. The person on site was able to turn it down but not off and had to get it taken care of after we left.
