Hotel bit old fashioned but very clean and comfy staff very welcoming lady who greeted us and served us in bar was lovely we had a real laugh and breakfast was very nice poached egg on sour dough was best 👌

Hotelin tren istasyonuna yürüme mesafesinde. Londra’ya 45 dakika mesafe trenle.
Süpermarketlere yürüyebilirsiniz.
Hotel çalışanlar yardımcı.

Cons:

Hotelin bulunduğu yer küçük bir köy. Fazla bir yürüme yer yok.
Hotel eski ve bakımsız. Temizlik açısından çok iyi değil.

A good value stay with a pleasant pub feel to the hotel.

Position was good close to the small town centre and a 15 minute drive to Basingstoke.

What a shower
Pros:

friendly staff and a very convenient location, right outside the railway station

Cons:

Hot water came out of the cold tap. which is disturbing
The shower control was problematic. It turned on easily, but after a short period almost seized up, requiring considerable sustained effort and bad language to rotate back to the off position. Physically, the knob offered limited leverage.

Good location and decent size room
Pros:

Nice size room, tea and coffee and a big bed. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Bin in bathroom was not emptied from the previous guest.
