Room was great and spacious - bed really comfy

Our room, no.11, was clean and tidy and the bed incredibly comfortable. The en-suite was pretty new and really good although a little lacking in shelf space. Friendly and very helpful staff.
A couple of things : the mirror in the en-suite was mounted too high for my wife to use comfortably, she is not tall and the mirror height seems to be set for tallish people; the other issue is the lack of information on breakfast times. Nothing I could find in the room or on your web site was available so I googled it which gave me conflicting information ie Monday to Friday 7.00am to 10.00am in one case but 7.00am to 11.00am in another with extended times for weekends - see attached photo. So when on the first day of our stay we arrived in the restaurant at 10.10am we were told breakfast had finished BUT the staff obviously took pity on us and served us anyway. Perhaps some clear information in the rooms would be useful?

No managers seem to be managing the younger staff , difficult to get drinks at the bar.

The grounds were very attractive ,quiet despite being close to a busy road, plenty of parking on site, good location , room was comfortable.
The windows didn’t open in our room because they were old and broken which a sign informed us of , dinner menu in the restaurant was limited and didn’t offer everything that was stated on it , continental breakfast pastries were not topped up so the tray was virtually empty so no choice , maple syrup was missing from the American pancake breakfast and service was slow. These things need addressing .

Greeted by very friendly reception staff (sorry we don't know the name) when we arrived on the 4th September afternoon
Lovely comfortable, big clean rooms. Beds are extremely comfortable & spacious.
Rooms are a bit dark. Could really do with brighter lighting as found it difficult to apply makeup with the lighting not sufficient.
TV also not connected to the WiFi.
Friendly staff, and an excellent location for our stay.
Exceptionally quiet at night despite its closeness to the main pub building.
Good size accommodation.
Externally the lodges were looking a little tired, and in need of redecoration.
