Villa Palme

Excellent view from the terrace to the sea. Parking by car at the court, direct next to the apartment is fine. Close to the sea shore, 10 minutes on foot downstairs but to walk upstairs to the house can be challenge for older people... We had a two bedroom apartment and a with two teenage children that was comfortable for overnight there. Kitchen is small, furniture has older pieces and a bit eclectic, but providing the space and comfort to stay there few days. The owners are kind and friendly, in summary I can recommend this place.

Freundlich, hilfsbereit, Traumblick @ Apartment 4 tags wie nachts. Man fühlt sich einfach familiär aufgenommen und genau so gestaltete sich auch unser Aufenthalt.
Die Flora in der Anlage ist erwähnenswert, da einfach wunderbar natürlich bzw. vielfältig, und nicht künstlich angelegt so wie in anderen Hotels, wo Pflanzen in Reih und Glied stehen.
Die beiden sind einfach herzliche Betreiber, die sich freuen ihren Lebensstil bzw. Lebensart mit ihren Gästen zu teilen.

Excellent seaview worth you to stay! Big and comfort room, but smelly blanket let it lost some point!

Vista splendida, vicino al centro, posto molto tranquillo, pulito, signora gentile e disponibile.

Espectacular departamento, vista inigualable. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, estuvimos muy comodos y bien atendidos.

Nice hotel. Good value

The best part of staying at Villa Palme is the owner, Erica. What delightful woman! We felt like we were guests in her home rather than staying at a small hotel. The view is stunning! The pool very inviting though the weather wasn’t very cooperative. For a reasonable fee Erica provided breakfast on the patio (the view!). She made breakfast into a feast; we could not begin to eat all of the delicious food. Our apartment (not a room) was clean, spacious and comfortable. We slept very well. The Villa itself could use some general maintenance and cleanup but so could my home in the early spring. Our only disappointment was that the WiFi connection was very weak. Erica thought it was from the storms but even when the WiFi was up and running it was a very weak signal. They may need to consider an upgrade to reach all the rooms. Villa Palme is located about 400 m up the hill from the shops and restaurants. If you follow Erica’s suggested walk it is good exercise! Also, we enjoyed her dinner recommendation at ROKO restaurant. We would stay again and enjoy all the hospitality Villa Palme has to offer.

We just got back from a week at Villa Palme. At first we loved it, the house, the view, the pool and the city is magic! But everyday when I maked the bed there were more and more stains on the sheets. At first I thought the sheets hasn't been changed since the last guest. But then we realized there were BED BUGS living there! Under the sheets there were more blood stains and spillage. I even got them on film! And photos of them, the stains and spilling. Disgusting!! Now are we back home and the memory from our vacation is shown on my arms, back, legs that are filled with red knots and bites that itches and not so much fun when we still have summer and I would love to wear short sleeves and skirts... I have never seen these bugs before but I warn everyone to look for them. The knowledge that they have been crawling on us when we've been sleeping, biting us, I would guess over 1000 times makes me sick. I really hope the apartment (nr 2) is closed to get rid of the problem, but the hostess only changed our sheets when we found out, not even vaccum. We slept the last night in the living room. I pray that we haven´t got them home with us!

We only stayed one night as we were passing though, but after check in and seeing the roomy space and terrace with an amazing view, we would have liked to stay longer. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Grazioso appartamento con tutti i confort da cui si gode uno stupendo panorama sul golfo del Quarnero, circondato da verde e con un silenzio per un meritato relax . Piscina piccola ma pulita servita di lettini, parcheggio, facile da raggiungere e a 10 minuti a piedi dal lungomare

I got upgraded to two bedroom ocean view room and the view is so astonished and roomy. The villa is about five minute walk to the beach.
The heater is not working but we do have extra comforter to keep warm at night. The hair dryer is not available on the room but can be requested. Also all the shampoo and shower amenity are not available in the room which is not convenient for the travelers.

Nice villa with great view but the pull out couch was not good. Our daughter just slept on the couch. Otherwise good

We loved the Villa Palme. It is owned by a Croatian-American couple, who were very versed in the area and gave great restaurant and site-seeing advice. They were very friendly and the Villa has an amazing view. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is less than a 10 min walk to the main strip with restaurants/shopping/small beaches. Was perfect or us, but the walk is all the way up hill to include steps on the way back to the Villa, so would not be good for strollers/wheelchairs or anyone not wanting to raise their heartrate :)

The location was perfect! We drove an hour to Pula and about 2.5 hours to Litvicka Jezera during our stay. The room has a wonderful view and is not too far of a walk to go eat or enjoy the waterfront. Did I mention the view was amazing. The owner was very hospitable as well. The food is great in the area. For the rate of the room, you could not beat it.
