The cheapest overnight I could find at short notice and was acceptable for what I paid. Compact room, fairly comfy bed and pillows, a little rough around the edges but good shower after a day’s graft. Tea and coffee in room.
Finding someone to check me in seemed to take an age for somewhere which wasn’t busy. Room was adjacent to a corridor door which proved a noisy location until 11pm. Cooked breakfast was nothing to celebrate and at £12.50 expensive for its content.
Staff always friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Always enjoy our stay.

The hotel was very convenient for where we needed to be for the weekend. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful.

grouting in the bathroom in the corner round the bath was a bit grim. Did report this but to no avail. Heavy duty duvet too hot for us. Sunday roast was appaling but the rest of the week was good.

There was water works going on so it was hard to leave the property at times as you did not know which direction traffic was going.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable and you do offer singles, which we wanted. A little small maybe. Staff all very pleasant and friendly.
Should have requested bath mat (forgot to ask) as bath too slippery for me (also shower).
Had continental breakfast. Very nice fresh pastries but 'fruit salad' was slices of melon with skin an and strawberries with leaves on - all in juice. Difficult to manage.
