Breakfasts were very good. One of our dinners was good, my husband's was fair.

The toilet in the room didn't flush properly
I requested a Sandwich/Pastry as I had an early Ferry. This was ready when I left. The restaurant was good, with helpful, friendly Staff.
Room a bit dated, not much of a Tea/ Coffee tray in the room.

The tiny room was very claustrophobic. and tye windows only opened about 2 inches...
Room was very roomy & clean, good choice of breakfast, staff were really attentive and parking on site always a bonus x
As with all big old hotels it was very tired & dated but ok for short break
It was surprisingly quiet despite the lively area. Enjoyed the proximity to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic.
The only let down was that the hotel couldn't provide me with a fan, we were having very hot weather during my stay so the room was quite hot too. I think hotels should be equipped with fans for times like these since there is no way to cool the room down, windows did not open too wide.
Perfect location and friendly staff. Generally clean with very tidy bathroom.

The room was spacious, clean and the staff were friendly. The food was good, the wet room was great vmt.
The price could have a bit better
My friend has M.S.. The hotel has been very accommodating to our need for a ground floor room. Even though we booked with booking.com they have changed the booking to a specific room. Can't thank you enough.
Parking
Too freaking hot. No air conditioning, the small fans provided barely move any air, impossible to sleep at night. And by small I mean very small.
When I went down to the receiption I’ve been advised they couldn’t do anything about it - just after another room has been complaining about the same issue.
The rooms were clean and well equipped. Fresh bedding and towels. Comfy beds.
The breakfast was Extra charge so I didn't have it.

Historical building
Very hot but understandable as the temperature was between 28-30 degrees!
Fan provided in bedroom which helped and fans in bar and restaurant area kept the areas comfortable.
No complaints, all was good. Location was perfect for my needs and staff were great. Room was about right for my needs and comfortable and clean
