welcoming and comfortable and value for money
Pros:

room was spacious and clean very comfortable, shower operation takes a moment to work out (tha might just be me!)

Cons:

that there aren't any usb charging points so remember to bring an adaptor

Adequate but nothing special
Pros:

Location for a family event. Food on site is excellent.

Cons:

It’s now looking quite tired and dated. For example our shower head was a little broken and was shooting water to the ceiling. We told staff on exit so hopefully it will be fixed for the next customer.

Cosy hotel great food breakfast and free parking
Pros:

Location restaurant food bed this is a perfect location to stay after a long day at Alton towers theme park this is great stop over on route home to london wound stay again

Needs some work on the rooms, a bit tired looking. Staff are excellent.
Pros:

The location was ideal for our visit to the area.
Breakfast was very good and were able to preorder for a relatively early start.

Cons:

The room, specifically asked for a quiet room and was given one directly outside the pub on a Saturday night with large functions taking place. Reception staff member was excellent in trying to find an alternative. The room was very dark, traffic noise. Windows only opened a little for security except one security cord was broken. Shower was hard to operate, very hot water that did not cool down, continued to pour cold water into the tub.

Disappointing with too many service reductions.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. The room was a decent size.

Cons:

Room was dull with no overhead light in main area and only low watt lamps, too low to read. Cutting costs eventually gets to be just low level service - radiators that did not turn on, no tissues, no shampoo.....
