No hesitation to recommend.
Pros:

Excellent location close to M1 yet tucked in a quiet area with no road noise and lots of private parking. Really friendly atmosphere with rustic charm decor and excellent value for money.
Special mention of Elisha on reception: friendly, bubbly, welcoming. We had a great 2 nights.

Cons:

A car is essential.

Pros:

Great location. Lovely hotel, lovely restaurant/food and every single member of staff were wonderful. Very friendly!

Pleasant stay on way to Yorkshire
Pros:

Nice hotel , staff very pleasant the waitresses were extremely efficient and friendly. Food very good value with plenty of choice on set menu and breakfast

Rooms a little dark. Biscuits on tea tray would be nice

Pros:

Good location and facilities.

Cons:

Had dinner on the first night and was very disappointed with the pie couldn't cut through the crust. But the waitress adjusted the bill accordingly.

Nice friendly place where the staff can’t do enough for you. Comfortable bed with a decent breakfast

From check in to check out we had a great two days at Fieldhead, staff were exceptional so friendly and helpful.

Short stay away
Pros:

Great price. Nice very large comfortable bed. Warm friendly staff. Good food. Good location.

Cons:

We wore in room 6. And directly outside our window was small courtyard with people sitting directly underneath our window chatting. Even with window closed could hear those talking.
