Excellent
Pros:

Decor, innovation of ideas around the hotel, great menu, great staff, especially Petra who served our breakfast .
Most enjoyable stay, will stay there again.

Cons:

Very dark rooms, lighting poor, orange bulbs, no good for us ladies trying to apply our make up. There is a magnify mirror in the bathroom, but you need to be at least 5ft 9, again orange lighting, OK for men shaving after a shower, but humidity spoils ladies hair.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Room spacious & very clean.
Pros:

Had continental breakfast at 9am. Reasonable choice but only white bread available and when request made for wholemeal/granary, " none available"! Also, very little mixed berries/ strawberries/ yoghurt available?

Cons:

The continental breakfast...as above!

Better than I thought it would be and exactly what I needed.
Pros:

All the staff (and I met quite a few!) were fantastic. What a thoroughly lovely group of people. The room itself was super quiet for the most part, comfy and at a comfortable temperature for once (most hotels have their room temps set unbearably high). I slept really well. Good for solo travellers.

Cons:

For a couple of evenings, one of the guests decided their TV had to be on full volume! So we all got to enjoy that for a bit. Yay for selfishness!

Good value budget hotel.
Pros:

Good location for visiting Newtown Linford/Bradgate Park. Bed very comfortable. Reasonably priced menu.

Cons:

Would have preferred more real ale choices - only Green King I PA available. Also Eton Mess Sundae did not contain .mixed berries as described.

Great value with great staff.
Pros:

Large bed. Tea, coffee, hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the room. TV with lots of Freeview channels. Clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water supply to shower. Speed of food service. Plenty of parking space.

Cons:

Light switch arrangement was only on one side of bed. No bedside sockets for phone charging. Breakfast room had a couple of flies and could do with a coat of paint. All very minor really :)

I needed a family room to rest a youngster during a long journey and this hotel fit the requirement.
Pros:

Overnight stop was GVFM. Liked being able to get an on site restaurant meal quite late.

Cons:

I didn’t have a breakfast but may have done if there was a room rate for B&B at the time of booking. I emailed M&B asking for a B&B price before booking but didn’t get a reply.
