Warm and clean
Only enough for two cups of tea
Room was clean and warm, bed very comfortable.
Manager was a bit upety as we arrived late due to delayed flight. 🙄 I was not impressed with her attitude. Pub closed early than usual? 🤨.
The friendly staff. The temperature and cleanliness of the room.Perfect location for us,near to where our friends live and town centre.Tasty breakfast.Room changed quickly.
The property did not get our request from booking for a ground floor room and decaff tea/coffee.The initial room we were allocated was on the first floor and substandard quality. This was rectified the next day when I spoke to staff member.
The team I dealt with were great, reception and bar team, all very helpful. The room and bathroom where both cleaned to good standard
The location was as required and had plenty of complimentary parking.
The room itself was that pleasant, a very old feel to the whole thing, the decor wasn't great throughout and no usb chargers was frustrating. The environment in the pub wasn't great and chef had finished for the night.
Lovely, clean and friendly staff
Decent budget hotel. Unfortunately due to me needing a ground floor room, check in was longer whilst I had the allocated room changed. Nice, secure access to the rooms and to the bar/Hungry Horse part of the facility. Cost effective, good food in the restaurant
Unfortunately the heating in this part wasn't working and the heater provided didn't work. Hosts were brilliant, though, as they changed my room to a larger double with working heater. Can't fault the hospitality.
Unfortunately both dinner in the pub and breakfast in the morning came on cold plates. I had to ask for breakfast to be served on a hot plate (nothing worse than cold egg and cold baked beans).
Accommodation was good and the staff were friendly, would stay again.
Nothing
Value for money, ok for one night stay. Easy to find, close to Whipsnade zoo, good breakfast.
My request wasn't met even though I was told it was, asked for 2 rooms next to each other this was not the case on 2 different floors. Not sure i would stay there again, room smelt musty, tatty appearance needs some TLC. For a Greene King Inn I was expecting more and a little disappointed.
