Good quality hotel with very good staff; only just misses being excellent.
Pros:

Excellent location on the edge of Oosterbeek, with easy access to the surrounding woods and to the 1944 1st AB Div Oosterbeek perimeter locations. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. The hotel is in lovely grounds, with plenty of space for parking. Inside, the main area of the hotel is pleasantly spacious and comfortable. The staff we dealt with ranged from pleasant and fine to very friendly and helpful, so overall a good experience. Breakfast was good; plenty of choice and options to eat indoors (in air-conditioned rooms) or outside on the (smoke-free) terrace. I would have liked the option of decaffeinated coffee at breakfast but wasn’t concerned enough to ask, so suspect I could have had it. We didn’t have lunch or dinner, so can’t comment on the options. We had two rooms; initially a very nice room at the front of the hotel with a balcony; very comfortable. We asked to move for our second night due to the temperature (above 30 degrees C). The staff member we dealt with in this matter was extremely helpful and we got another room; this wasn’t actually as good as the first room overall (still had balcony, but not as good a view) but was perfectly fine and, in the heat, the aircon made it much more comfortable, so a genuine upgrade! There is a gym and swimming pool but we don’t have time to use these, so can’t comment.

Cons:

Given the standard of the hotel, I am surprised that not all rooms have refrigerators and safes (our second room did have a safe). Also, as other reviews have mentioned, some of the decor is in need of an update. We had peeling wallpaper in our first bathroom. Nevertheless, I would stay again as the pluses outweighed the minuses.

Cons:

The double bed was not a double bed but two individual singles pushed togther.
The restraunt was not open on Sunday, but not mentioned on Bookings.com
It said Bath on bookings.com, but there wasn't one.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das vorzügliche Abendmenue (Halbpension) voll genossen
Pros:

die Historie des Hauses
die ruhige Lage umgeben von herrlicher Natur
die Nähe zum öffentlichen Nahverkehr

Cons:

unsere Zimmer lagen im angeschrägten Dach.Wir hatten das Glück,dass es während unseres Aufenthalts nicht heiß war.Natürlich haben die Räume Klimaanlagen,die wir im Schlafraum aber nicht gerne nutzen.
5 Nächte waren gebucht,während dieser Zeit eins der Zimmer gar nicht,das andere ein einziges Mal gereinigt und Handtuchwechsel vorgenommen.
Eine funktionierende Fahrradluftpumpe wäre im schönen Schuppen wünschenswert.

voldoende als enkele overnachting voor werk gelegenheid.
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk personeel en zeer behulpzaam. Zeer mooie locatie, rustig gelegen. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid en voldoende. Zeer nette badkamer met goede producten.

Cons:

kamer was wat ouderwets. Ik mistte vooral de verduistering. Ik ben niet gewoon om met masker te slapen, dus dit was vervelend aangezien de zon vroeg op was.

Helaas erg gehorig, wel mooi hotel in mooie omgeving.
Pros:

Mooie omgeving, hotel zelf ziet er ook mooi uit.

Cons:

Super gehorig, echt niet te doen (superior kamer). Je kunt de gesprekken letterlijk horen van je buren en als ze door de kamer lopen, klinkt t als gestamp. Weinig daardoor kunnen slapen. Erg jammer, want hotel zelf is wel mooi. Maar vanwege de gehorigheid zou ik niet snel weer boeken.

Een heerlijk verblijf, met zwembad en vriendelijk personeel in een prachtige omgeving !
Pros:

De sfeer, de ligging, vriendelijk personeel, goede prijskwaliteit verhouding, fijne extra faciliteiten wanneer je met kinderen bent, goed ontbijt.

Cons:

Er is maar 1 rek om twee handdoeken te laten drogen. En zelf vind ik glazen bekers prettiger in de badkamer dan plastic bekertjes. Dat voelt ook wat goedkoper. Maar dat is echt muggenzifterij. En de vloerbedekking in het trappenhuis is aan vervanging toe. Maar nogmaals, we hebben het heel erg fijn gehad !

La TV,
Il n'y avait pas une chaîne en langue française,ni Belge
Walonne pendant que je m'attendais à avoir au moins TV5.
Par contre en plus de l'anglais et allemand il y avait de l'espagnol,de l'italien,du japonais,du russe...
Merci de mettre TV5 et Auvio par exemple pour la Belgique en français.

Calme et tranquillité au milieu de la verdure
Pros:

La localisation au milieu d’un joli bois. Le calme et la tranquillité du lieu. Le très bon petit déjeuner.
Très bonne literie et chambre spacieuse et moderne avec vue sur la verdure (chambre 135). J’ai bien fait de demander une « recently renovated room ».
Endroit idéal pour visiter le Airborne Museum, le cimetière militaire de la bataille d’Arnhem, le musée en plein air d’Arnhem. Des belles randonnées au départ du Airborne Museum.

Cons:

Personnel un peu froid.
Il faut commander le nettoyage de la chambre à travers un QR code, ça n’est pas fait d’office. Pas très pratique.
L’air conditionné est impossible à débrancher, car il y a un détecteur de mouvement qui le rallume.
