Great hotel, highly recommended
Pros:

Beautiful building, perfectly located for any visit to the Cotswolds. The breakfast is excellent and very good value for money. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Can’t recommend it enough.

Rooms are a bit tired and dated but quiet and the bed was comfortable. Excellent shower. Food was pretty good - it’s pub food but fairly priced. All in all, pretty good value for the price.

Very pleasant atmosphere with good service and choice from bar and restaurant. Nice clean room with really comfortable bed. Could have had some better soap/shampoo items in bath room given price. Excellent staff and food.

Perfect stop on the Cotswold Way
Pros:

We had everything we needed here and the staff were very helpful. We were walking the Cotswold Way and this place is right along the path. They also offered trail lunches. It’s nothing fancy but a nice meal, bed and bath and great service made it a really good stay.

Great overnight stay
Pros:

Lady at reception very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself is a little tired looking but our room was great, clean and comfortable.
Went to the bar for a drink but found the bartender extremely unfriendly and in a bad mood.
Paid extra for breakfast the next morning which was very good. Would definitely stay here again.
