all in all we were happy with our stay

Cons:

all the stairs up to our room on 3rd foor I am 83 years old fit but the stairs up to the top floor was very hard work.would'nt book a room up there again.

Hotel for short stay but not without issues.
Pros:

Large room.On site parking.Good bar end excellent dinner.Location very good for town centre.

Cons:

Room in need of repairs to flaking paint on ceiling and cracked sink.Dogs in bar where food was being served always unacceptable.
Creaky floors but I guess that reflects age of building.

Pleasant stay

Comfortable bed, good shower, great value for money. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The car park is not particularly large given the size of the hotel. It is possible to park on the street for a couple of hours during the day (free overnight) so we managed ok but it was a bit of a surprise.
