Good location and outside area excellent overlooking the river especially on a summers night
Minor detail but the evening was hot and no fan in room.
Breakfast was excellent, good choice and tasty ! Our room had an amazing view of the River and the valley beyond. Didnt have dinner but food did look good. Bar and terrace area was lovely, very classy
Nothing ?
Location, food.
Excellent location with a fantastic view from the large outside seating area. A great place to enjoy the sunshine and hot weather. Busy but they coped well and the atmosphere was great for an evening out in Ross.
Food at both breakfast and in the evening was very pleasant with excellent service. Room was large and with comfortable seating area. Promptly provided with a sheet when we asked. The staff were brilliant throughout!
Unfortunately it was very difficult to sleep in the room during the heatwave. There was a fan provided in the room but the main window only opened about 10 centimetres. Better with the bathroom window open as well but this could have been adviced at the start of the stay. We had to work this out ourselves.
braekfast was excellent room was lovely view stunning but in need of a decorate quite a tired building
nothing
Lovely room and view.
The location by the town
Although room had patio door it was a bit warm,
Staff were all very accommodating and happy to help.
Breakfast menu offered a good variety and they were happy to support any special requests.
The Bar veranda was perfectly located offering great views and a cooling breeze.
Fabulous hotel superb location
Nothing
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable beds.
The room was very hot and although a fan had been provided it was difficult to sleep.
Comfortable bed , good nights sleep.
Absolutely no hot water in the room.
Noise in the restraint was unbearable.
As you did actively upsell the restaurant to us as guests it was stressful to be shoved around and ignored at the bar when I was trying to pay for meal.
If payment could have been talen at the table this could have been avoided.
The view from the large outdoor terrace was beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. The meals were good value and excellent for anyone needs to be gluten free. It is a good location- a couple of minutes one direction to the small town centre and a couple of minutes in the other direction to the river where you can follow walking paths.
It's a great location, with a lovely view of the Wye valley. Rooms are comfortable and staff good. Breakfast good. Didn't have evening meal, so unable to comment.
Managed to park on site, though its always tight and hit and miss wether you get a place. The music outside on the veranda obviously brings the crowds in, but it really is ridiculously loud!!!
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location, overlooking the river. The terrace was a lovely place to have a drink whilst watching the river. The room was spacious although not air conditioned & the windows wouldn’t open very far. There were however a couple of big fans which helped keep us cooler at night. Breakfast was very good & the staff very friendly.
Air conditioning & more drawer space.
Staff were friendly & helpful and lovely views from the bar and terrace.
Rooms a little dated.
Room very comfortable. Very clean and beds comfortable
Lack of parking spaces available
Excellent location and restaurant prices however needed to leave a note on room for more shower gel otherwise 10/10 very happy 🤗🤗
Nothing we didn’t like
