The staff were very helpful and friendly
The staff were brilliant. 10/10.
the decor in the room I stayed in was a bit dated .
Breakfast was great, lovely food and good choice
It rained the entire time we were there, which has nothing to do with the hotel, but felt a bit stranded on the evening as it was a bit of axwalk to the other venues in town. Be lovely in the summer though.
Lovely old building with all the features and wonderful views.
There wasn’t anything
The room was excellent. Clean, lovely decor.

Location of hotel
Room was very hot even though radiator was off
We had a table for 10. 5 adults and 4 children, one of the children with special needs and the staff were lovely.
Nothing
Wonderful breakfasts and equally wonderful staff who are all friendly, and all work very hard. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and is popular with locals as well as hotel guests. Stunning views over the river and surrounding countryside. Hotel is just a short walk to the town centre.
The evening meals were not as good quality as they were on our last stay.
Stayed on a dinner/bed & breakfast package and all meals surpassed expectation. All staff we met were very professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Parking was tricky as car park was full when we arrived and had to circle the block a few times to find onstreet parking,
In the evening the place was treated as a pub.
And a lot of traffic noise
View
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, spacious room
Breakfast was good quality and plenty of choice
Bath was dirty but otherwise room was reasonably clean.
Could have provided a biscuit and hot chocolate drink option
Stayed here a few time . It’s a wonderful hotel lovely staff, beautiful room with a fantastic view. Very good food too 😊
Nothing everything was very good 😊
Lovely characterful property.Warm beautiful room close to town.
Room was comfortable with a large seating area and king bed. Hotel bar had a great atmosphere. Food was excellent.
Car park is quite small and spaces are tight.
We are here pretty much every other month for family dinners for birthdays etc as this is the middle meeting point for 4 of us.
We had a standard double room but the bed wasn’t a standard double size. As me and my partner are very tall the bed was very small for such a big room. I would say the only improvement would be is if they made the beds bigger.
