Comfortable, great location, friendly staff
Really could do with a lift to the upper floors for older guests
Location very good and lovely breakfasr especially the berries
Good location, staff were all excellent.
Our room was above the pub in the hotel and was noisy until very late. Black mold in the shower. For those with any mobility issues the bath tub was VERY high to have to step into, and long staircases with no lift option.
breakfast was very nice and met my expectations, hotel staff were friendly and efficient when interacting with guests
The room we stayed in number 28 had a serious noise problem with the hot water plumbing pipework. It was continually making a noise 24 hours a day. This made sleeping in the room very uncomfortable in the evenings. My wife found this most distressing to endure this persistent noise for the two nights of our stay.
Great staff and service
All just a bit tired needs a bit of TLC.
Car parking or lack of.
Breakfast was good with choice of Continental or Full English. We had dinner which was good. Staff very helpful especially when there was no place to park one night of our stay. Lovely location high on the hill overlooking the river Wye
Again an old building so our room was on the second floor up a winding staircase but the staff were very helpful with our luggage. On the last night of our stay the car park was full and there was no space within the vicinity of the hotel to park but the gentleman on reception showed me a space which would normally not be used and gave me permission to stay there which was exceptional service.
Great hotel, rooms a little dated but reflected in price…. We actually like the quaintness as suits the area. Had a bath - brilliant. Super bar with outside seating towards the river. Bfast was gorgeous! Above all lovely smiley staff. A definite return in the future
Nothing disliked - Parking very tight as small car park but parking elsewhere.
Room lovely and clean, well stocked.
Breakfast was exceptional, and the lady serving breakfast was incredibly helpful and polite, andseemed to genuinely care about guests' experience and wellbeing.
Bed was a little hard - could do with a new mattress, however it certainly wasn't terrible.
Additional signs would be helpful to point guests to reception etc as it is a little like a maze inside.
Fab location close to everything and able to see the river and sunset on patio bar. Friendly helpfull staff, very comfortable room, excellent menu, and delicious food.
Nothing not to.like
Hotel the staff, breakfast and location all excellent.
The hotel room had no storage facilities to put your bags and no drawers. The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable and could feel the springs.
Location and dog friendly room close to door if you needed to get to the garden in the night
Nothing.
Rustige grote kamer met mooi uitzicht
Nauwelijks kastruimte om bagage af te leggen
Location and friendly staff.
Looking at little dated.
Quiet historical location
