Stunning setting by the pond with very friendly ducks and very friendly staff. Good very good, bed very comfortable. My room had lovely view over the pond and gardens. New owners very warm and welcoming.

Cons:

Pressure on the shower was adequate but could have been better.

Pros:

Mooie locatie, kleinschalig, charmant pand.
Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en uitnodigend. Diner was heel lekker. Ik voelde me er erg comfortabel. Parking nabij huis,prima.

Cons:

Het was een beetje te warm in de kamer. Wel ventilator ter beschikking.
Tip: haardroger ter beschikking stellen.
Verder absoluut geen opmerkingen.

Lovely setting with good facilities

Cons:

It’s an old building so the noise of guests above was quite intrusive (but unlike modern hotels there were no noisy doors slamming).
Restaurant lacked atmosphere and at breakfast the white table cloth had not been changed from evening before.

Great Location
Pros:

Nice location lovely grounds

Cons:

Upon booking I specified Gluten Free for breakfast which was noted could accommodate.
Unfortunately despite reminding re Gluten Free on checking in, the breakfast team were not aware of my requirements.

In fact it was 2 days before I even had sight of tyhe breakfast menus .
Eventually on day 3 my last day the Breakfast issue were resolved.

The two evening meals I had were nice, however they were À la carte and so this was reflected in the price and portions .

I did find a really nice pub close by The Fox and Duck Rotstone as an option for evening meal

All in all I would possibly book again due to location IF the breakfast choices were guaranteed on booking.

Pros:

Ive been before. The location not far from work, the WiFi worked better this time.

Cons:

The room was far too hot. No air conditioning in room, I found it hard to sleep, even with windows open it was too hot, the room could do with air conditioning
