Hotel in a beautiful setting with work ongoing to improve facilities.
Pros:

Beautiful setting in a lovely village. Used as a wedding venue & I can see why. Recently under new management & the owners are working to improve the room facilities.

Cons:

Our room was cold and the heating unable to be fixed so an oil filled radiator had to be used (which didn’t heat the en suite shower room). The en suite had 2 missing light bulbs so very gloomy plus shower needed fixing.
All this was mentioned to the manager who was apologetic and said it would be fixed in the future.

Pros:

Lovely setting. Extremely comfortable beds room Lovely. Attentive staff. Very friendly. Atmosphere of the whole place very laid back. Brilliant stay. Definitely recommend.

Quiet comfortable stay
Pros:

Very comfortable in a lovely setting.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Shower excellent and room cosy with lovely views. Dinner was excellent.Quiet setting.

Cons:

Would have liked soap in the bathroom and details of WiFi in the room Fan in the bathroom went on too long making it a bit noisy in the room at night

Felt like home
Pros:

Everything was perfect from start to finish. They made me feel completely at home and the whole stay was comfortable, peaceful and very welcoming. The place itself is beautiful and full of charm. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it without any doubt.

A nice hotel with good setting. Our room needs to be redecorated.
Pros:

A nice property with lovely staff. The setting looking out to the back garden is nice. The breakfast was include and was very good.

Cons:

The room was a bit tatty and in need of some decorating and removal of mould in the bathroom.

A very pleasant hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is well located for Duxford/M11/A10 etc, but for me the welcoming staff and wonderful character of the building itself would make me want to return. The garden at the rear is beautiful.

Cons:

To be honest I have no gripes and would not hesitate to return.
