Location is very good.
Decoration.
The room is of a good size.
Staff very kind.
You can hear people talking and walking a bit too loudly, but keep in mind that it is an old building. Anyway, I could sleep quite well.
Easy check in and check out. Free parking. Great location.
The noise of others simply walking past, slamming doors and what sounded like jumping/running around at 1.30am. We didn’t have a good sleep at all. The room were also very warm. We aren’t light sleepers either.

The room and the staff were very good 👍
Food just a tad expensive
Breakfast was good and room was clean
Hotel is looking very tired, could do with decorating. Shower ok but hard to set temp as it’s up and down and low pressure
Breakfast is fine
Shower drain was smelly, switch for heated towel rail was broken, general condition and cleanliness is degrading with each visit (we typically visit +/- 2x per year for the last 15 years or so)
Good location, good room size.
Heating was turned off before getting there room was freezing
Location was good for the stay
Poor heating. Room was cold and small fan heater provided. No toilet paper, had to ask and lots of mold around bathroom window.
In need of an uplift
Great location, excellent parking, the food was fantastic and the staff were so accommodating.
We couldn't stay longer!
Bed was comfortable.
The lighting in the room was very poor, especially at the mirror above the desk, to dim to use the mirror. Noisy in the morning when people walked pass load noise from the floor boards. Room was to warm even with the radiators off. The window couldn't be opened very much.
Lovely ground floor room. Great location.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly.
We tried to get dinner but were told we had 6 minutes as the restaurant closed at 8pm. Signs said 9pm on Sunday. Website says 8 :30, so I'm very disappointed.
I tried to order a drink at the bar, waited well over 5 minutes and there was no sign of a staff member so I had to go and find someone. Three staff were working but no one was at the bar.
Not a happy bunch of people not a smile or thank you between them. It's a shame as a lovely hotel.
Great room, clean and comfy with nice furniture and vibe. Vegan breakfast was catered for well as per my request _ clear dietary
The water didn't go as hot as I would have liked it on the non waterfall shower head. Otherwise can't fault my stay.
