Overall very good, would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

The bed was amazing - so big and comfortable.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The window rattled.
Breakfast time was a bit early for us - we would have preferred it a little later.

Cons:

I had to complain about the music coming up from the bar in the evening, the staff said that the music was at normal level but my room was above the speaker cluster, the turned it down. At 6 o'clock the music started again, as a member of staff said to me "that's the level it's always at". The issue is the transference upwards not the actual volume

This is a nice place to stay in the centre of Alton.
Pros:

The location on Alton High St is nice. The parking is good and the building looks like an old coaching inn. If you're looking for modern you're in the wrong hotel. If you want character then this is a good choice.

Cons:

The bacon and eggs on sourdough toast were uninspiring.

Comfortable and convenient; good value.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful.
Bed was comfortable and bedding very fresh.
Breakfast offering was extensive and good
Extensive off-street parking at rear was free and very accessible.
High Street location was useful.
Bathroom had modern fixtures and shower with good water pressure

Cons:

This is an older property; furniture and decorations are fine and pleasant enough for a short stay

Pros:

Right in the center of the town.
Very accommodating staff. Very nice bathroom. Bar and restaurant were good.

Cons:

Old building. Floor in the room was noticeably slanted.

Good location in town centre, with parking included. Bedroom clean, functional and quiet.
Pros:

Wide choice of hot breakfasts cooked to order. Cold buffet available as well. Reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service.
