Hotel Schmitta

Wie schon gemedet, ist dieses Hotel seit ca. 6 Monaten geschlossen! Warum es trotzdem auf der Seite erscheint und auch gebucht und bezahlt werden kann kann ich nicht verstehen! Achtung

Perfect location downtown Fiesch. Friendly and supportive owner, good breakfast, no fan or ac! But rooms are cool enough.
Unfortunately it smells not good and it is very old.

Hôtel simple et très bien situé pour découvrir le glacier d Aletsch.
Les chambres donnant sur le torrent sont bruyantes à cause du torrent.
Notre chance était d avoir une chambre côté montagne.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec beaucoup de choix soit fruits, confitures, œufs, Viande froide et fromage. Très diversifié ! Bravo

It is a very traditional Swiss hotel. Located very close to the lift (10 minutes) walk. Breakfast was very tasteful and the free car park located 2 minutes away. Very nice staff, clean rooms equipped with the kettle.

It's not exactly a 3-star hotel, rather a family run chalet. It has a certain charm but you feel like back in 1980, I have never seen such a place in complete decay since a travel to Lithuanian countryside in 2002 - there was not 1 Swiss frank invested for 30 years. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, just soft foam slipping off the bed frame. Rooms including family ones are tiny. Breakfast is quite ok. The location is really excellent in winter and summer. If you intend to watch TV in the evening, subscribe to Netflix because satellite doesn't work either. It would all be fun if it didn't cost 200 franks/night with all taxes and extras. Attention, you will find free parking places around but not within the hotel and not even close.

Wunderbar gemütlicher Aufenthalt

A super little hotel. Nothing fancy, well appointed room, tasty beakfast, welcoming bar .Simple good hospitality. Everything a chain hotel can't offer!

Wir hatten den Eindruck von einer one man show.
Reception , Zimmer zeigen , Service Bedienung , etc.
Freundlich aber dennoch gestresst.
Die Zimmer sind veraltet , waren jedoch sauber. Das Abendessen war Preis , Leistung ok.
Das Morgenessen war so lala. Als Skifahrer erst um 08.00 Uhr Frühstück finde ich geht gar nicht.

Freundlicher und sympatischer Familienbetrieb.
Gut erhaltenes und gepflegtes Gebäude, aber teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Für ein langes Wochenende mit der Familie wirklich perfekt. Freundlicher Empfang, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Betten sind bequem und das Frühstück lecker.

Sehr angenehm, man wird sehr freundlich und herzlich aufgenommen. Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Bad muss noch ein bisschen renoviert werden, aber der Besitzer ist dabei. Der Fernseher ist zu klein. Das Essen und das Frühstück sind sehr gut und das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis passt. Insgesamt ein wirklich sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Hotel Schmitta provided a very comfortable room and good service for my family. Also, the location is excellent, just take 5 mins walk to the Coop Supermarket and 10 mins walk to the gas station.

Ein sehr gutes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal wo Preis Leistung noch stimmt und einer eigenen Gaststube und der jedes Essen schmeckt.

- sehr hellhörig, alte Einrichtung, aber sauber. - gutes Essem im Restaurant, das Hotel angegliedert ist. - leider beim Frühstück schimmeliges Toastbrot und wenig Auswahl am Buffet

Das Hotel war sauber und ist mit hübschen Balkon ausgestattet. Es ist zentral in Fiesch gelegen. Das Personal ist freundlich. Frühstück war allerdings erst ab 8 Uhr erhältlich.

Einfaches, gutes Hotel.
Preis-Leistung: gut.
Würde ich wieder buchen.

The place is a bit pricy, but seeing that you are Switzerland ... sites make up for that. Location is really good and staff is really helpfull. Really expected a warm breakfast, though. PS. Please check cable-cart schedule b4 making your booking. Definately recommended.
