The hotel is very well located, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. The overall atmosphere was vibrant yet welcoming.
Honestly, everything met my expectations. If I had to mention something, perhaps minor details like occasional hallway noise, but nothing that affected my overall experience.
This is a beautiful property in the heart of a tourist area. I chose it in part because it is directly on top of a metro station, which was super convenient.
The lobby was awesome, and the room was pretty nice, with a firm bed, which I appreciate.
However, after the first of my two nights, I had to request a new room. My first room was near the elevator, and every couple minutes, all night long, I heard metallic clanking and scraping noises through the walls. This woke me up a few times. The front desk staff and engineer took great care of me; they took me to see (and hear) another room, which I then moved into. The new room was farther from the elevator and had no noise issues.
Other than the noise issue, which was resolved, I had a great stay here. The service was top notch! I was impressed with my interactions with Micaela and Jessica(?) at the front desk, as well as Manny from the bell staff. The service was excellent at the restaurant, too, though I didn’t get their names.
I didn’t have time to use the pool or gym, but I peeked at both and wish I had had more time!

Very impressive Hollywood hotel in a great location. Room was nice. Solid fitness center. Nice rooftop pool with seasonal bar scene. Happening lobby bar area. The staff was great.
This is one of the good ones in Hotels. Convenient, accessible to Hollywood, courtesy, accommodations and most importantly Staff professionals. Spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day away from home is an experience itself. Spending it here with such a great staff was satisfying and fulfilling. Our room was beautiful with staff constantly checking in to make sure all was good and everything we were expecting. Their working on a holiday didn’t show any sadness as I know I felt sad about working on Christmas. It was a great week and the experience was awesome. The new restaurant was very tasty and well done. Food was great and staff very helpful. Very happy we chose the W and definitely coming back.
I was in a pickle and Lina, the Welcome DesK Manager saved me! She assisted me with accomodating the petcare needs I needed for my son and girlfriends stay over the New Year's holiday. She went above and beyond and gave me petsitter service referrals. She was a good listener and I don't know what I would have done without her consideration and kindness. She was very sweet and professional! I'm grateful for all that she did for us.
Not a great location
Beautiful place, staff are amazing, food at the bar was excellent. Walking distance from a lot of entertainment and restaurants!

Nothing but positive things to say about this property. From check in to check out I was well taken care of. Ive stayed at this property multiple times and it never disappoints. The service from the staff is consistently good. This reflects well on management. The room was clean as always. I look forward to the chocolate by the bedside during turndown service. The rooftop pool is relaxing during the week and a full on party on weekends. The location is in the heart of Hollywood. There are many attractions within walking distance. This is my go to any time I'm traveling to LA.
We recently stayed at the W Hotel, Hollywood for a wedding. Wanting to do something special for the wedding couple also staying at the hotel, I contacted the Concierge Marinna Benzon for assistance. She could not have been more attentive, engaged and responsive to my vision and requests. She worked hard with me for two weeks via emails and phone calls, and when I was on-site at arrival. The wedding couple was absolutely thrilled and touched by the thoughtful way Marinna executed my vision for amenities/gifts awaiting them at their arrival at their room. I am truly grateful to Marinna for her expertise and excellent work.
In addition, Marinna booked our from/to airport transfers, which were high-end, prompt and pleasant.
I highly recommend Marinna for her mastery of Concierge services. Brava!
