All children under 12 can only access the spa pool when accompanied by an adult.

O hotel é simplesmente lindo.
O quarto é muito bom. Vista para o Douro de cortar a respiração.
Hotel silencioso.
Pequeno almoço espectacular, com muita variedade. Os salões onde o pequeno almoço é servido parecem saídos de um filme.

O upgrade do quarto foi uma agradável surpresa.

The hotel has the old palace with the main reception area and some rooms, with the majority of the rooms being in an adjacent building. Very poor signposting between the two. They really need to sort this.
O hotel era muito Bonito, com espaços amplos. Uma verdadeira obra de arte. O café da manhã era maravilhoso e a equipe muito atenciosa e prestativa.

Klimaanlage funktioniert nicht; auch mehrfache Hinweise auf die Störung brachten keine Änderung.
Die Suite ist sehr dunkel und hat leider kein ordentliches Beleuchtungskonzept.
Total verdreckte Dachfenster und sehr viel Staub in der Suite.
Frühstück sehr überlaufen und somit nur kurzfristig ordentlich bestückt. Das Personal sehr gestresst und teilweise sehr unwillig.

It’s in a beautiful old building (castle) with lovely views on the river. Fabulous breakfast. Rooms were clean with nice linens.
It wasn’t in the nicest area. Parts of the hotel were under repair. Upon leaving I was a bit set back by the rude attitude of the young women without a thanks or even asking how our stay was. We had much much better service at their other property in town, at the Pestana Vintage.

Super comfy beds and superb linen. The views spectacular, the history/arts of the building/interior beautiful , fantastic staff and service and superb food!
Aircon did not work ....fortunately a lovely big window for ventilation at night
Очень красивый отель в старом здании. Красиво как в музее, нам сделали апгрейд номера у он нас был просторный, с тремя окнами и прекрасным видом на реку и замок. До центра города можно дойти пешком по набережной, займет не более получаса. Дойдете до фуникулера и поднимитесь на нем прямо в центр. Пока мы гуляли, нам оставили в номере набор пирожных и подписанную от руки открытку , что было очень мило.
