Excellent polite staff was really happy with my stay
It was a short walk to the sea
Difficult to find - not very good instructions - postcode takes you to totally the wrong place
Very poor breakfast it states a continental breakfast, nasty white bread, croissants, and chocolate croissants in individual wrappers. Worst coffee I’ve ever had.
This is a good hotel in a good location. Rooms were clean if a little dated.
The food was good, but the choice seemed less than the last time I stayed. The restaurant coffee isn't how I remember it and best avoided.
Was lovely 25 years ago when when we had our wedding reception and night stay there
Seems run down , squeaky floors when either my husband or I got up to go to toilet . Needs updating , bed uncomfortable also and having to pay £5 for parking while staying there
Everything
Leaving
Comfy
They put me above the function room, incredible noise from a jazz concert starting at 7pm finishing at 1130pm
Don't put customers in rooms near the function room when there's noisy music!
I live in a campervan, so I only booked in for a good soak in a bath tub,, but if I'd booked in for a rest, I would've been furious!
Anyway, I put my headphones on loud to drown out the racket.
Location
The room was too small and dirty. The bathroom has seem better days. The toilet took 20 minutes to refill. No toilet roll holder and the floor sloped downwards.
Nice Hotel in it’s day
Needs modernisation and investment. The extra £5 to park although cheaper than others, still feels a bit bait and switch.
Good location

Staff unwelcoming .Insisted on photo identification, and then doubted the authenticity of the photo id card I had on my phone.Insisted I paid £50 in case of damage caused by my dog.Still waiting for that to go back into my account.Staff were suspicious and unfriendly.TV didn’t work and neither did lift.Worn carpets in room and on stairs.Creaky floors.
