Room was nice and comfortable
The room had a smell of take away possibly Indian food. However only staying overnight. Therefore did not mention until checkout.
Location good for purposes, room comfortable, staff good,. All good.
Nothing, except some room ventilation would be a useful addition
The bed was comfortable
The breakfast was poor, the room has stains under all the radiators and a very muggy smell.
Good accommodation and Staff were good and helpful on arrival and at breakfast time.
The location
The noise and the hot room. I was above a party going on downstairs. I would have liked to have been warned. Even with the windows all open and the radiator as low as possible I was still boiling
The room was clean.
The noise levels from events taking place in the hotel were extremely loud, disruptive guest shouting along the bedroom corridor. No sound proofing between my bedroom and the wedding function room below. Unsatisfactory response from the management team. Very poor communication between receptionist staff liaising with manager regarding my complaint. No TV reception in room.
Old building. Think the room was fairly recently renovated
Southside is a great location
Close to where I needed to be.
Nothing.
Really nice welcome, breakfast good, shame the bar closed so early/wasn't open due to an event being on.
The room was comfortable and warm (I stayed at the end of February during several rainy days). The location is very convenient, close to the city center and within walking distance of the train station.
All the staff were supportive and kind. I met three staff members at the reservation counter during my stay, and each of them was very welcoming. They kindly helped me reserve tables for breakfast and dinner and took great care of me throughout my visit. I was very happy to meet them.
The beef served for dinner at the restaurant was also delicious. I hope to see them again if I have another opportunity to visit Scotland :)
There is no convenience store nearby, so you may need to walk a little to buy daily necessities.
Comfortable, clean room
Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer, also not very warm
Friendly welcome from receptionist, very clean room & bathroom with comfortable bed. Location is very convenient for Queens Park, such a lovely large area for walking and enjoying the outdoors.
Disappointing there isn’t a lift and the curving stairs can be difficult while carrying luggage and bags. Couldn’t get any hot water to the basin in the shower room, It took a a long time to get just warm water, though the shower was just warm enough.
