Pratique et économique pour partir en roadtrip
Pros:

Hotel sans doute pas très récent mais bien tenu. La température de la chambre en arrivant était parfaite.
Check in rapide et courtois. On nous a notifiées de l'heure des pop corn (offert) puis à partir de 17h (je crois) il y a un buffet dinatoire offert pour les clients avec des boissons (vin compris). Rien de gastronomique mais très appréciable pour ne pas avoir à ressortir dîner après un vol long courrier. On mange à sa faim, avec salades et plats chauds à volonté ! Nous partions à Sedona le lendemain , donc la situation géographique était parfaite. A noter , la proximité d'un REI (matériel outdoor) bienvenu pour compléter notre équipement avant notre roadtrip mixte (camping/motel) et d'un Walmart bien grand pour compléter l'attirail du campeur. Le concept de cet hôtel est plaisant, nous sommes allées au DRURY de l'aéroport en repartant pour les mêmes raisons. Je recommande cet établissement.

Cons:

Recevoir un mail une semaine après ma réservation (fin aout) pour m'informer que la piscine serait fermée (entretien annuel) . C'était donc prévu et cela n'apparaissait pas dans le descriptif. Même si je comprends la nécessité d'une intervention , il est très désagréable d'apprendre que l'équipement qui nous tenait à coeur (il faisait 44 à Phoenix pour notre arrivée) était indisponible. Nous n'aurions pas réservé si nous l'avions su AVANT. La direction devrait mieux communiquer dans son offre , c'est un peu malhonnête de mettre en avant des équipements hors service.
La literie devrait être revue... mon lit était en pente sur le coté droit. Peut être changer les matelas ... même si j'ai quand même bien dormi avec la fatigue du voyage.

Pros:

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, and I’ve always had a great experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are always clean, and the front desk staff are polite and welcoming.

They also have a swimming pool, fitness room, and a nice area where you can enjoy the free breakfast in the morning. It has everything I need for a comfortable stay without making things complicated.

Every time I stay here, I leave feeling relaxed and well rested. Whenever I travel to Phoenix, this is and will continue to be my go-to place to stay. I’ve been here several times already, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Cons:

Not a hotel for relaxation
Pros:

I really liked our bed. It was soft and comfortable. The pillows were great too!

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that the one bedroom had an air conditioner only in the bedroom and not in the living room. It was constantly hot and uncomfortable in there. I was grateful that I was able to get a box fan from the front desk to try and circulate the air. We had to keep the AC unit at 65° just to get any cool air into the living room so our daughter could sleep and hang out.
I love the breakfast that is served in the morning but I only saw one gal with a bad attitude, cleaning the dining area the first day of my stay. The other morning...crickets!People act like savages and are so messy. As they are serving themselves food they are making such a mess and leaving their trash by the food which, I'm sure, creates frustration for the employees. This was one of the dirtier experiences I've had at Drury Inn and Suites. There was an extreme amount of children and teenagers present. I am assuming because of the Hurricane water park that was the reason. Nevertheless, children should not be allowed to serve themselves unsupervised. I witnessed a boy that had to be about 11 or 12 years old coughing while serving himself potatoes and then again at the sausage station. When did it become okay to just cough without covering your mouth or turning away. I know this is no responsibility of the property, but it seems that people should practice personal hygiene before entering a public space especially when it comes to food handling.




We will not be staying at this location again.
