Not a hotel for relaxation
Pros:

I really liked our bed. It was soft and comfortable. The pillows were great too!

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that the one bedroom had an air conditioner only in the bedroom and not in the living room. It was constantly hot and uncomfortable in there. I was grateful that I was able to get a box fan from the front desk to try and circulate the air. We had to keep the AC unit at 65° just to get any cool air into the living room so our daughter could sleep and hang out.
I love the breakfast that is served in the morning but I only saw one gal with a bad attitude, cleaning the dining area the first day of my stay. The other morning...crickets!People act like savages and are so messy. As they are serving themselves food they are making such a mess and leaving their trash by the food which, I'm sure, creates frustration for the employees. This was one of the dirtier experiences I've had at Drury Inn and Suites. There was an extreme amount of children and teenagers present. I am assuming because of the Hurricane water park that was the reason. Nevertheless, children should not be allowed to serve themselves unsupervised. I witnessed a boy that had to be about 11 or 12 years old coughing while serving himself potatoes and then again at the sausage station. When did it become okay to just cough without covering your mouth or turning away. I know this is no responsibility of the property, but it seems that people should practice personal hygiene before entering a public space especially when it comes to food handling.

A nice place to stay and will be back
Pros:

breakfast and dinner was good and a great value. Enjoyed the staff and their friendliness. Room was clean and spacious. Easy check in and out.

Cons:

Can't think of anything other than it being busy, which is great for business. It can get a little loud with meals, but that's due to the popularity of the place.
