I liked the fact that the place is close to the dam.

The road leading up to the Hotel is gravel and on rainy seasons it's a bit messy

Decent stay, not much to do. Misleading information regarding activities.
Pros:

Food was great, and the view of the river was also good.

Cons:

The strict rule of not being allowed to bring our own alcohol was disappointing and we had to spend more money just for drinks. We couldn’t drink our own in our rooms and the drinks were taken from us at the gate.

The activities mentioned on bookings.com like spa, horse riding, cycling etc were none existent so we were just eating and drinking and seeing the view the whole stay. Also there’s no fridge in the rooms so any takeaway you have from the restaurant will spoil by morning.

Other than that, it was a decent 3 night stay.

The place is under construction
Pros:

Where the place was situated but the water is not nice but that is not the hotels fault

Cons:

The restaurant was sort of stock, they advertise cocktails but don't have the ingredients. Some food on the menu is out of stock..

Pros:

The rooms were clean and all the staff were helpful and nice. Very convenient that there was also an aircon in the room as it was very hot.

Cons:

Some things were broken in the room... such as the toilet seat and the kettle lid. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep water cool.
