It was perfect and location was also brilliant for us with young kids.
Great location
We stayed at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge during our first visit to London and had a positive experience, which is why we decided to choose this hotel again. Unfortunately, our second stay was extremely disappointing.
We were assigned Room 1226, which had no window facing outside. After seeing the room, we immediately informed reception that enclosed spaces trigger our anxiety and kindly requested a different room. We were told that the hotel was fully booked, but our request was noted.
The following day, after other guests had checked out, we approached reception again and asked to be moved. Once again, we were simply told that the hotel was fully booked. We felt that our concerns were neither understood nor taken seriously, and no alternative solution was offered.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The lamp in our room kept flickering, and the cabinet door housing the refrigerator was broken. Even after housekeeping cleaned our room, these obvious maintenance issues were neither reported nor resolved.
We are genuinely disappointed to have received such poor service from a hotel of this standard. We expected much better customer care, attention to detail, and room maintenance.
A beautiful hotel is not just about its appearance or location. It is also about how guests are treated, especially when they raise genuine concerns.
We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes a greater effort to look after its guests.
Sadly, this stay has completely changed our impression of a hotel we previously enjoyed.
