I had paid for early check-in. I had made plans accordingly starting 2 PM check-in. On arrival I was told that the room is not ready. The person checking as in was a trainee. She tried to make a attempt to talk to her superiors who were all in meetings at that time. It seemed like meetings were more important than customers. I finally got my room after having to impress upon them how badly we needed the room to keep our plans. Very poor experience at a hotel that prides itself for being one of the top in the world.

Overpriced
Pros:

We had an amazing view of Westminster bridge, great location for bus routes and attractions

Cons:

The room was smaller than our last stay and twice as expensive. The sinks kept blocking and the TV remotes had no batteries. The beds were uncomfortable. We ordered drinks at the bar, £31 for 3 drinks was extortionate, then you realise they add on a compulsory 12.5% service charge, as if you have a choice to make the drinks yourself, daylight robbery.

Hotel enorme, sembra di essere in un villaggio turistico.
Mio figlio di 14 anni ha dovuto dormire per 6 notti in un divano letto sfondato e imbarcato e ovviamente non c era la possibilità di cambiare la camera. Pareti sottilissime e poco insonorizzate, se come noi haii affianco persone che parlano al mattino presto o la sera tardi non si riesce a dormire.
La cosa peggiore è che avevo necessità di far fare riabilitazione a mio figlio di 14 anni, con una mail mi sono accertata prima della prenotazione di poter usufruire della palestra e mi avevano dato il consenso,ma una volta in hotel invece ci è stata negata l entrata perche minore di 16 anni.
Questo per noi è stato un grande problema.

Pros:

Wir waren 5 Nächte im Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London und äußerst zufrieden. Die Lage ist perfekt - Big Ben liegt direkt auf der anderen Seite der Westminster Bridge und auch das London Eye ist in etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Besonders positiv fand ich die bequemen Betten mit angenehm fester Matratze - ich habe auf Reisen oft das Problem eines schlechten Schlafes aufgrund der Betten oder des Umgebungslärms...diesmal zum Glück nicht. Nachts war es so ruhig, dass wir trotz der zentralen Lage sehr gut schlafen konnten. 🙂

Bei Fragen konnten Zimmerservice, Concierge oder die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr schnell und professionell weiterhelfen - zu jedem Zeitpunkt waren alle immer sehr freundlich.

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel für einen London-Aufenthalt!

Cons:

Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Selbst bei vollständig eingeschalteter Beleuchtung empfanden wir das Zimmer relativ dunkel.
