Great hotel!
Pros:

Big disappointment
Cons:

It was my twin girls birthday and a treat to London first time . I begged and begged and begged for my kids to have 5mins jump into the pool which when we tried to book kept saying fully booked. On booking it was not mentioned to us that the pool is always full . We booked the hotel because of the pictures of the pool my 10 year olds were excited about not even to be given a chance to see it and just have a deep . It was very expensive and we did not get what we asked for. The location is great. The guys outside were great , the food was great but the spa people denied my kids an experience on their birthday which I thought was really unkind after the sacrifice I made paying over a thousand five hundred pounds for 1 night ( less than 24 hours)

Great at the start , lead to a painful experience

My mum loved the view from the room

Cons:

I didn't like the fire alarm what went off. This really made me upset on the night. I did not sleep at all. The fire evacuation was poor, as when it went off the staff was still serving hot drinks . So this became confusing. The fire point om the square no one could hear the man with the speaker.

I suffer from really bad anxiety, this experience made me feel like there was going to be a fire in the night.
At the fire point, being disabled and having problems standing for long periods of time was hard.

When checking out, the lady on the desk spoke so quietly I could not hear. She never said any like, did you enjoy your stay etc. She just took the key card and never said anything else. So I asked her is this it. Just a nod . Found rude.

London zum Geburtstag
Pros:

Optimale Lage für Sightseeing, direkt gegenüber von BigBen auf der anderen Seite der Themse gelegen. Gute Anbindung an die Underground Stationen Westminster und Waterloo.
Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal, gute Organisation beim Frühstück.
In der Bar bis abends 22:15h kleine, warme Speisen erhältlich. Zimmerservice (Speisen) gegen Aufpreis möglich, aber nicht getestet.

Cons:

Gebucht war ein Zimmer zur Innenseite. Dass Innenseite auch gleichbedeutend war mit dunkel, war der Beschreibung nicht entnehmbar. Dunkel ist in diesem Fall kaum bis kein Tageslicht.
Da aber der Grund der Reise Sightseeing war, habe ich mich im Zimmer ohnehin nur zum Schlafen aufgehalten. Von daher war es verschmerzbar, wenn auch nicht so sonderlich schön.

Vielleicht gehört die gedimmte bzw teilweise sehr gedimmte Beleuchtung auch zum lichtkonzept des Hotels insgesamt. Das fand ich eigentlich sehr schade. Denn das Hotel an sich ist von seiner Bauweise und Lage eigentlich optimal.
