Insomma
Pros:

La posizione è la cosa più comoda, vicino al centro.
Stanno facendo lavori e la nostra camera non era disponibile. Ci hanno fatto vedere se volevamo una stanza al piano terra, esterna con la macchina da parcheggiare affianco ma ho rifiutato visto il rumore della strada e la poca privacy. Ho apprezzato il gesto.

Cons:

La nuova camera era piccola e aveva solo una finestra in alto, stanza molto buia senza vista in pratica.
Molto freddo, aria condizionata decisamente troppo forte, anche se spenta faceva comunque freddo.

Ruime kamer met goed werkende airco.

Would go back again after renovation is completed
Pros:

Room was cozy and nice, nice finishes, very clean, with good aircon during the heatwave. Lovely historical building and nice staff. Right in the city centre, perfect for sightseeing.

Cons:

The hotel is undergoing major renovations, this means that 1) google maps brings you to the wrong entrance and you have to go around the block to find the correct one - it would be no problem if the hotel would have advised in advance of arrival; 2) some corridors are blocked with temporary boards or open into the parts where workers are; 3) noise during the day. Parking for drop off of luggage is tiny and manoeuvring is very difficult. When we arrived, at 6pm, we were given the room but the beds were not made, we had to wait for the staff at reception to make the beds for us. Questioning health&safety - there was a wooden bean in front of our room door, which made entry/exit challenging.
