Very good

We were offered a free upgrade to the hydro massage room which was a nice surprise. It also offered an outdoor sitting area which worked well. Room was very clean and well looked after.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et la décoration est à la hauteur du standing de l’hôtel. Propreté impeccable, literie super confortable, grande télévision et terrasse permettant de bronzer et profiter du soleil. Le personnel de l’hôtel est adorable et toujours réactif en cas de demandes. Supplément spécial pour la douche et l’éclairage de la chambre qui permet de se plonger dans une atmosphère intimiste et relaxante.

We booked this hotel as the pictures looked amazing. When we arrived we paid €10pp per night room tax which our provider we booked through said was the price for the room not per person but we paid.

We got in touch soon after booking to say a disabled traveler was staying and asking for an accessible room on the ground floor which they said they could accommodate this but there was no rooms on the ground floor. When we arrived there was a step to the reception area. We where on the second floor of the hotel which to get to the lift you had to go through a heavy fire door with a push bar, when we got to the lift it was full of a felt like fabric making it very difficult to get in.

When we got to our room is was very spacious however not exactly like the photo, our photo for our suite showed a nice balcony/ourdoor seating area but we did not have this just a very high window. We also had a broken bathroom which when we arrived to door was open but the lock on so when I went it to the bathroom I took the lock off to close the door but didn’t lock it then I couldn’t open it back up. After 10 minutes of me and my friend trying to open it with no luck we had no choice but to get maintenance who opened it up and said it gets jammed which is not good to say it’s an accessible room. I was in this bathroom alone with no phone and if I was in the room alone I would have been stuck there for a very long time. We did tell reception about this and they just said that they will tell someone about this.

The hotel was in a decent location, it felt a little sketchy but nothing too bad. There was two separate tram stops a 5 minute walk away, a train around 15/20 minutes and a bus stop outside though a local said there is not any busses into town due to roadworks only back. There isn’t any shops or places to eat super close by which was a shame.

There must have been some maintenance work in the hotel as every morning at 8am there was banging and drilling which was impossible to sleep through and ultimately ruined our stay here. Coming back in late and wanting to have a sleep in was made impossible and we did report this to reception but was told they are meant to start at 10 but this clearly was not the case. There was also cars and motorcycles speeding past which was very loud and added to the noise of the work being done.

The cleaner did leave everything tidy, they did not fill up the amenities like the teas and coffee pot although this never emptied and we never got another bottle of water despite staying a few nights. The cleaner did throw my friends contact lense strip (with lenses in) in the bin. She had packed spares but if not this could have ruined our full trip as she wouldn’t have been able to see.

When booking our provider told use there were jacuzzis, massages, balcony but when we arrived there wasn’t really anything to tell us about any of this no poster or book or even a QR code and after exploring we did not find anything other than a small gym in a corridor.

Overall I wouldn’t stay here again as the room was not what was advertised to me nor accessible and it was impossible to sleep on a morning due to the noise.
