Sport Hotel Pocol

Hotel um pouco distante do centro. A ausência do elevador dificultou um pouco devido às bagagens. Linda vista.

OUR STAY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PERFECT. VITO & CHIARA THE OWNERS WELCOMED US WITH OPEN ARMS AND MADE US FEEL LIKE FAMILY.. THE ROOM WAS EXTREMELY CLEAN, THE VIEW WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND IT WAS THE BEST FOOD WE HAVE HAD SINCE WE BEGAN OUR TRIP IN AUGUST. THE BREAKFAST IS A WDE SPREAD AND IF YOU LEAVE HUNGRY THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG. WE WILL RETURN TO HOTEL S PORT POCOL AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR A WONDERFUL STAY. TO ANYONE. THANK YOU VITO & CHIARA FOR MAKING OUR STAY SO BEAUTIFUL.!!!!!

Abbiamo trascorso due giorni allo Sport Hotel Pocol e siamo stati benissimo per la tranquillità assoluta del posto e la gentilezza dei proprietari. L'aria vecchiotta dell'albergo, tipica di tutte le strutture situate a Pocol, e' compensata dalla splendida vista delle camere affacciate sulle montagne che spazia dal passo Giau fino alle montagne che incorniciano Cortina stessa. Ho trovato esattamente ciò che mi aspettavo e consiglierei il posto a chi va a Cortina per la bellezza delle sue montagne

Colazione un po scarsa

Hotel semplice, di altri tempi, ma curato, pulito e silenzioso. Colazione di qualità con dolci fatti dalla cucina dell'hotel (non sempre è così).
Titolare simpatico e disponibile.

Camere molto "datate". Da ristrutturare. Colazione scarsa, poca varieta' di cibo. Situato poco fuori dal centro, posizione utile per escursioni.

Hotel pulito con ristorante che propone ottimi piatti. I proprietari molto gentili e simpatici. Il tutto molto accogliente.

Amazing location!

Posizione ottima, personale cortese. Ristorante di bassa qualita' e decisamente caro, conviene senz'altro manguare nei locali limitrofi. Camera adeguatamente spaziosa.

Struttura accogliente, direzione e personale cordiali e disponibili, ubicazione strategica sulla strada in direzione delle 5 torri e passo falzarego, cibo ottimo e tradizionale, un soggiorno veramente piacevole.

We spent two weeks skiing in January. We had our own car which is an advantage. Easy access to a number of pistes which are not as busy as Cortina but are linked so you can ski to all the main slopes except one, Fallora, which requires a long walk, a slow, slow, busy, gondola ride from Cortina centre and was not really worth the effort. No great loss though as the main slopes are easily accessible from Olympia, near to the hotel, where you can ski out of the car and back again. From there, three of the main peaks are easily accessed, just lift rides away.

Das ganze Hotel scheint mit Stofftapeten bezogen, unserer Meinung nach nicht up to date
und fraglich in hygienischer Sicht. Bad dunkel und nur relativ sauber. Zimmer roch nach
Hotelparfüm....
4-5 Kilometer außerhalb von Cortina d'Ampezzo, daher nichts los!
Das Frühstück und die Freundlichkeit waren jedoch sehr gut.

Schöner Aufenthalt; das Hotel ist schön am Hang eines Berges gelegen mit toller Aussicht; das Hotelteam war freundlich, gerne wieder

Room was fine, not fancy, bed was very comfortable. Simple, old fashioned. Food in restaurant was delicious.Homemade pastas and game sauces (rabbit, wild boar, venison). The proprietor was extremely friendly and solicitous. Extraordinary views, and amazing hiking trails very convenient, almost right out the front door. Walked up to a rifugio in an hour or a little more. Unforgettable vistas and views back down to Cortina in the valley from the hiking trail. It is close to Cortina but hairpins and blind curves require extra time. Nice walking and dining in Cortina too.

waren erst entsetzt, da 5 km außerhalb gelegen und der 1. eindruck nicht sehr überzeugend war. Zudem wurde uns ein winziges Zimmer unterm dach angeboten. doch man bemühte sich sofort, ein größeres zimmer zu finden und war danach ständig bemüht uns den aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten

Etwas abseits von Cortina. Aber gut mit dem Bus erreichbar.
Für eine Übernachtung bei einer mehrtätigen Wanderung gut geeignet.

The room was clean although its quite old. The best thing of this hotel is the staff's friendliness. They will be gladly assist you in any ways even they gave us water for free when I asked if there were any mini marts or supermarkets in the surrounding. The only bad thing was the cold water in my room was not functioning, but the other 2 rooms were working well.

The hotel is unpretentious small establishment 5 kilometers from Cortina. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. The hotel offers good breakfast. Personnel are friendly and try to be helpful. There is nothing really to do in Pocol, but for a traveler with a car this is a convenient, quiet place to stay.
