Good price for a one night stay - clean comfortable - a bit dated but it was fine and very quiet

Warm and friendly staff overcame slight criticism of bathroom
Pros:

Evening meal and breakfast very good. Location ideal for visiting mum in law in Bedford. Friendly and attentive staff.

Cons:

Rust patch in bath needs attention as does basin plug plate. Found duvet to thick a tog for us. Will bring own 1 tog one next time.

Cozy, Friendly and just the job
Pros:

The dinner menu was excellent although there was a few items on the menu which were not in stock, the quality of the food was fantastic and all good was presented well also. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Cons:

One downside i feel is the burger buns, brioche buns would pair nicely with the burgers served and also non gluten free products were given to a gluten free individual, luckily we asked if it was gluten free before eaten and product was quickly changed.

Near to where my daughter got married .
Easy, free parking.

Cons:

Room was very hot but as it was located above the main entrance with a noisy party going on underneath, with people going in and out, plus the owners dogs barked everytime anyone went near the door, so I couldn't have the window open. At breakfast nothing was out on a table to choose from, and we had to constantly ask for toast, juice, jam, alternative milk, nothing was offered, we had to ask for everything. No extra tea or.cofffee was offered after a first single cup. Felt very stingey. On the first morning as I was leaving 10min before the start of breakfast, I asked when I checked in, if I could just have cereal and a croissant or something, and a cup.of tea but was told no, we start at 8am.

I would not go back!
Pros:

It was clean, but that’s about it!

Cons:

Trying to enjoy an evening meal with karaoke blaring away with staff involved having no interest in customers staying there, poorly maintained rooms with plugs not working, bath panel broken, and poor quality food.

Reasonably priced for an overnight stay
Pros:

Well located for near Bedford. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Evening food was nice.

Cons:

Bed was not comfortable and creaked and the toilet seat in the bathroom was very loose.

Very comfortable pleasant overnight stay.
Pros:

Lovely big comfortable rooms,very pleasant staff, tasty breakfast. Great evening meal.

Cons:

Not really a dislike but a slight problem for me was having the shower over the bath as it was a lovely big bath therefore difficult for me to get into and out of. My fault for being of small stature .
