Not Mitch
I’m disabled and had all that stairs .no WiFi.
Cheap, good location, comfortable bed, plenty of space.
Drain was clogged which made bathroom floor flood a bit, shower curtain was dirty, shower pressure not great, room not serviced between days despite notice in the bathroom suggesting guests leave dirty towels on floor if they would like replacements.
I loved how easy checking in and out was, I didn't need to worry about checking in late or reception times as all I needed was the key code. Staff could be communicated with on my phone which I liked as well, as it felt more like staying in an air BnB apartment than a hotel.
The location was beautiful, with easy access to the Cairngorms and I loved that it was pet friendly. Having packets of Haribo, biscoff biscuits and lots of tea and coffee set out for us was a lovely touch too.
The mattress was a little old as I didn't like that I could feel the springs, but once I laid down it was comfortable enough.
It was warm and cosy with excellent bathroom facilities. And very good value for money.
The bedroom itself and the furniture was a bit dusty.
The location was good and the gardens were lovely.
It was very cold and temperature/heating could not be adjusted, the toilet had what looked like feces on the wall. The bedding was very thin and only 1 small extra blanket for single bed and nothing for the double and only 1 thin pillow per bed.
Warm & comfortable accommodation in Kingussie, great location near rail station, very quiet, you could hear a pin drop, easy self check in and out, breakfast room with microwave and fridge, free cereal & pastries, coffee machine, excellent lounge for guests to relax. I will return.
More hostel than hotel, no staff, I had no interaction with anyone the 3 days I was there, but is that a bad thing ??
Staff a disgrace very arrogant doesn't even try to speak to customers
Not much
No reception, long winded key access. Room tired and dirty worn furniture.
the bed
getting the key for room
Great value for money. Will stay again
An extra pillow in the bedroom would be good
The room had a wow factor when I opened the door.
Totally loved the haribos

I stayed there last year for two nights in summer so I could see the area. This month I stayed for two nights in winter when I had a car accident in the snow and needed a lift there as it was somewhere to stay at the last minute.
It was very basic but it did the job
In winter it was not a good place to stay as it’s up a hill and dangerous to drive up and down in the snow. To get to the railway station it was dangerous to have to carry luggage down to roadside to railway station (especially after a car accident in the snow the day before)
Lovely place, really recommend for a hiking or skiing trip.
No food on-site, but there are restaurants nearby so it wasn't really an issue!
Locatoon
The building was tired, paint flaking off windows and doors. Wallpaper was starting to peel. Not 100% clean.
