We had no hot water in the room to shower. They just kept saying, sorry for the inconvenience. They do not answer the phone when you have a problem, you have to wait until they send you a WhatsApp. Terrible customer service. WiFi went off, so we got nothing that we paid for. Window could not stay open for fresh air, we had to use a bottle to keep it open. Would not recommend this place, it is a waste of money. They are happy to take your money, but then ignore you when you have problems. Do not waste your money.

Dirty, no staff to help on site. The place was a building site with no food options and no hair dryer, coffee maker etc

It’s a building site. But rooms not currently being worked on are being rented out. There are no staff onsite, only a telephone linking you to a call center in the Philippines ( I asked them). The is no security and the onsite builders have keys to ALL the rooms, including those being rented - as a single wanna traveler I found this very disturbing- and moved the internal room furniture to Barr the door from being opened by the builders during my occupation especially at night.

Strange not seeing any staff, although they did respond to my concern about lack of seating in my room, and provided a chair from the second night (all communication by messaging). I appreciated that and thought that was good service.

Cord for kettle didn’t reach the plug, had to boil the kettle on the floor. Dust everywhere, only 1 towel per person plus a bath mat.

The building was being fully renovated for which we were given no prior notice of by the host, only saw one review mentioning this from back in April. So just a heads up for anyone booking to be aware of that. The worst thing was there was long black hairs all over the shower walls and floors. We messaged the host and mentioned this and they did apologise and say they would fix it in the morning, but we were checking out in the morning.. So basically no point. To be fair, we made a late booking and did not expect a five star hotel, but at least expected a clean place. The internet also kept dropping out which we also mentioned to them, and got no response back about that. All this to say, it was a bed to lay our head for the night, so was just.. Fine

The whole ground floor is under renovation with construction materials, dirt and debris all around. Plastic sheets everywhere, cracked plaster walls, unsafe fire alarm system (suppressed), fire doors propped open in hallways, main entry door open to the street, no on-site staff, reception accessed by desk call to operator in the Phillipines who has no idea about the building, local mobile phone option that goes straight to answer phone with no response from the so called management. These are greedy managers selling rooms for cash when the hotel should be shut down during renovations and certainly should not be advertised on BOOKING.COM. A massive disgrace to the Scottish hospitality industry. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !

Τίποτα δεν μου άρεσε, έχω στείλει μήνυμα στην booking με τα παράπονα μου,το κατάλυμα ήταν υπό ανακαίνιση, σε άθλια κατάσταση, μακριά από την πόλη σε δρόμο εντελώς ακατάλληλο για βαλιτσάκι με ρόδες με τα πόδια που έπρεπε να πάω εγώ,κάτι που δεν το έγραφε πουθενά και επιπλέον όταν έκλεισα το δωμάτιο πλήρωσα τα διπλά χρήματα από την τιμή που πλήρωναν οι νέοι ένοικοι που τύχαινε να κλείνουν τελευταία στιγμή. Περιμένω οπωσδήποτε κάποιον να επικοινωνήσει και να με πιστωσει το επιπλέον ποσό, ήταν καθαρή απάτη

There was no staff. No assistance except for telling me they'd never had problems before. THE REVIEWS refute that. In the 'foyer' there were bags of sand and cement and other hazards. The number given for my key safe, written down, I tried 4 times and was told "there is no key with that number" After asking for help, I was told there was no staff available to help me. I am 81 and very used to travelling but I would not have been able to get my luggage up the stairs. I told the woman I wanted my money back, and she said I wouldn't get any money back, so I said I was leaving. Over an hour later I got a text saying someone was on their way. Totally disgraceful and I will avoid Booking.com in future unless I get at least some satisfaction. I booked the day before and by the time I arrived there, the money had already gone from the account. I also mentioned I am over 81and had already driven some distance and was very tired. I hope this dreaful place is not on your client list after these bad reviews!!!! Please tell me if I can claim any money back from them.

Das halbe Haus war eine Baustelle, eine absolute Zumutung hier aktuell Gäste wohnen zu lassen. Die Einrichtung und der Zustand unsere Zimmers war sehr schlecht. Leider auch nicht sehr sauber. Auf der Außenanlage stand überall Sperrmüll herum. Schade, das Haus hat Potential.
