It had a nice feel about it, it felt cosy! Breakfast was also very good! Great location for race course and going into town. My friend had an issue with her key card and the staff went out of their way to get it sorted and couldn’t apologise enough and also gave her a refund for the room which we thought was so very generous!!! THANK YOU!!!
The rooms/bathrooms may need a little bit of an update but still exceptionally clean and comfortable.

We had a pleasant evening while walking the Way. The beds were comfy, the staff was friendly, the room was great, the shower was hot, and the breakfast was everything we needed. We had dinner in the hotel and it was good. Our waitress was amazing. Thank you Kaziah!! She was friendly, funny, accommodating, and just made us feel so welcome.
Everything was comfortable. Nothing to complain about. Except I didn't have time to test out the amazingly deep tub. Sorry I missed that!!
Breakfast was terrible fruit awful no yoghurt, had to ask for coffee and milk.

The hotel is on the Cotsworld Way and so is an excellent stopping point. The views are exceptional.
After the first day we had to change rooms because of a water leak. In the evening the meals were good but one beer had run out and the only alternative was undrinkable. The second breakfast was below standard, the bacon was tough, and the only member of staff on duty surly. My biggest complaint is that although Green King advertise free wi-fi, it is not. You have to give personal details, including your date of birth, in order to set up an account. There is no alternative. This is unreasonable, and potentially damaging if this data is misused or stolen. I will avoid Green King Hotels in the future.
