I stayed at Alenti Sitges back in June and was really impressed. The location is right on the main street, yet the hotel itself is unbelievably quiet — I was genuinely shocked that you couldn’t hear a thing considering where it’s situated.
I arrived late in the evening but check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, tidy and had a good bathroom. The rooftop terrace was lovely too — small, but the pool and drinks service made it a great spot to relax.
The bar downstairs was very good, and breakfast (plus the coffee!) really hit the spot. You honestly couldn’t beat the location if you want to be right in the heart of Sitges. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely clean modern hotel right in the centre of Sitges night life. It was surprisingly quiet ( but it was November ) Having visited at peak season there is adequate sound insulation for the noisier nights and ear plugs are always an option. Daily cleaning is excellent and we found reception staff friendly and helpful. We will visit again! We also enjoyed a nightcap at the bar before bedtime and a chance to people watch
This stay had appalling sleep quality.
On the positives, location is great, the room is compact but clean and modern with smart TV and good Wifi. Bed is comfortable and sizable.
But quality of sleep was appalling. While I appreciate the hotel went to some way to sound-proof the rooms, it really can't block out the endless noise at night from the hyper-busy main square that keeps going until the early hours.... the dull drone of talking, singing and music ruined my sleep. On top of that the "air-con" was locked to 23°C. That's heating, NOT air-con cooling, and there is no way to leave your window open with that outside noise. Why do hotels think they get to tell me what is a comfortable temperature to sleep in? Am I not paying them to sleep in a room I find comfortable? The room quickly became stuffy and too warm with no respite to cool it down. Also, bizarrely the cold tap and the hot tap both gave hot water (?).
When I checked out, no one asked hiow was my stay. I can see why. Would not stay here again unless I took a sizable bag of sleeping tablets with me.
Not a 4-star hotel. Very disappointing.
We stayed in the Penthouse for 3 nights this weekend and had a terrible experience. The hotel might claim to be 4 stars, but in reality it doesn’t come close.
The room was hot and uncomfortable, with air-conditioning locked at 23°C. When we asked for help, the night receptionist (very unfriendly and unhelpful) simply told us to sleep with the terrace door open — impossible, as the room faces the main square and the noise from bars and clubs goes on all night. We barely slept.
The penthouse itself feels old and neglected: no outdoor terrace lights, tired furnishings, and heavy curtains you have to drag by hand. Breakfast was just as disappointing: powdered-tasting eggs, terrible coffee, and extra charges for basics like a cappuccino or real eggs.
Overall, the experience felt more like a low-end guesthouse than a penthouse in a supposed 4-star hotel. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
Staff were extremely helpful, beautifully cleaned room every day, lovely food and great bar staff
Great location, nice clean hotel, great value.
Great property with excellent service. Easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Be aware it is in the city center and the crowds stay out late. Great if you are looking for a fun vibe.
We got this hotel by accident because our other hotel cancelled. Was a great stay. Modern and boxy. Next to everthing
Check your bills - went for drinks this evening. Was double charged. Only noticed when we went back to the hotel so had to walk out to rectify. Wasn't offered a refund just another drink which we didn't want. Finally got a refund after arguing.
Fantastic location, spotlessly clean room with easy walking distances to the beach and marina etc.
I loved my room and absolutely would stay here again. I had a room with a private deck and tub, which was so worth the extra money. The staff was great, the beds were comfortable, and you couldn’t beat the location.
Hotel staff were great
Addition of cups of fruit on first day and the snack on the last day were a nice touch. Needed an extra blanket and they responded right away. In a very busy part but that is to be expected. Servers at the restaurant gave great service and worked extremely hard :)
Our stay was wonderful. The location is in a very convenient area with lots of bars and restaurants just outside, yet the room was very quiet (and I'm a light sleeper). The room and bathroom were nice and spacious and the roof had a beautiful view and swimming pool. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
I was looking forward to the room specifically because of how the view from the outside patio looked and how I was able to see the bed from the outside of the patio. Instead I got a room with one sided windows completely covering the outer part of the patio and looked nothing like how it was advertised. I feel more cheated because I payed a lot of money and was already hesitant because of how much it was but I was sold on the view from my room. I will never be coming back to this hotel. Be aware the front desk people tried to justify this by telling me that the pictures on their website are outdated but that they clearly have a fine print saying the pics aren’t necessarily what the rooms actually look like which I found absolutely insane to say to me.
I stayed here for almost two weeks during a summer vacation, it's a modern hotel with well appointed rooms, recently renovated and centrally located. Some staff members are kind but the majority is really unfriendly, they hardly ever smile and won't interact with you, the bar staff are really super rude. However you have very nice breakfast options nearby.
We were placed on the first floor overlooking a busy street, which remained quite noisy until late at night. There was frequent maintenance noise—possibly from the hotel or nearby buildings—as well as early morning disturbances from housekeeping. The central location is convenient but comes with a lot of noise.
Great place in central location for Sitges Modern, clean, very friendly staff.
Fabulous all around
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting sitges. The roof top pool is amazing, and the rooms are very spacious.
While at first glance, the hotel looks great. The deeper you dig, the more you find deficiencies when it come to comfort and functionality.
When we booked our hotel room, it was advertised as a king room with a hottub on the balcony. It was in fact a room that could either be 2 single beds or converted to 1 king. While I know that this is common in Europe, the beds were on very light weight frames on casters and therefore the entire bed would slide across the floor when you moved. Additionally, the night stands were wall mounted and therefore too far from the bed when configured as a king.
Additionally, the room we were given was actually on the ground floor and the hottub was not on the balcony but was instead on a patio. The word balcony had indicated to us that we would be on an upper floor.
Finally, we were given a handicap accessible room which in and of itself was not an issue but due to the design of the handicap accessible bathroom, there was not a single surface in the bathroom upon which we could unpack any toiletries for our stay. We had to ask for a luggage rack/stand and a tray from the kitten to be brought into our bathroom so that we had a surface to use.
For what is billed as a high-end hotel, I think that all of these misses added up to an experience that was not as we expected.
