Taj Falaknuma Palace

1. Kids play area not in playing conditions, no maintenance.
2. We specified that we r celebrating special occasion, but it didn't feel so by the cold response received.

Overall we dint feel so great to visit again, given the cost and experience.

We had high hopes, I believe it was our mistake.

We had a great weekend stay at the Falaknuma Palace. The location is great and the proximity to the airport was a pleasant surprise. The palace is stunning as one would imagine, but staff is their biggest asset. The ethos trickling down from the GM downwards, is consistent. Extremely courteous from the security to bell staff, naming a few, Wasim at the gate, Meraj for entry and fretted to take pictures. Deepak & jahangir at the entrance to Pyare mohan and Mr. VK Rao for assisting with our bags even while walking h through the property, not just during check in and checkout.

The FnB team under Nasar, is the cherry on the top. Santosh and Nasar were kind enough to pack us some condiments as treats to take back which we through enjoyed. Salman, Sudhakar, Sumanth were all exuding the same ethos of hospitality, and making us feel so so special at every meal. Even Imtimenla, who brightened our mornings walking into breakfast, with her wide smile :)

Great stay. Courteous staff. Full of warmth.

The hotel is a gem in Hyderabad. All its historic past is part of the experience. Our room was comfortable and well appointed with lovely extra touches. There is a choice of restaurants and the food in all of them is excellent, including a superb breakfast choice. But most of all it is the staff who make the place - all charming and friendly and going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. No chance to explore the pool but we are returning later this week so fingers crossed. It will hopefully be a perfect finale to our Deccan visit.

From the carriage to the welcome to the welcome drink from the staff to the room everything was like a magic carpet we my kids enjoyed never a dull moment from the moment we entered the palace we felt royalty I am really happy for choosing this property and thank you the team at falaknuma is doing a wonderful job every one there is a gem in my view.kudos keep up the good work

An exceptional property paired with truly outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport to the final send-off, the warmth and courtesy of the staff were evident at every step.

The welcome was nothing short of grand and lavish — from the charming horse carriage ride to the rose petal greeting, welcome drinks, wine, and thoughtful in-room surprises to celebrate our special occasion. Every detail was beautifully curated.

The experiences throughout our stay were equally memorable — a delightful high tea, an insightful palace walkthrough with the historian, a soulful qawwali night, and an absolutely delicious dinner that ended with another surprise celebration and cake cutting against a breathtaking night view of the city.

The next day began with a serene yoga session followed by a scrumptious breakfast, and yet another thoughtful gesture with wishes accompanied by a lovely flute performance and a third cake — truly overwhelming in the best way!

With a late evening flight, we were graciously offered extended checkout, allowing us to enjoy the pool and gym, followed by a customized lunch that was simply outstanding. Even our departure was thoughtfully handled, with a specially arranged car ensuring comfort for all of us.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team — Santosh, Archana, Ramakrishna, Saroj, Mustafa, Jyotika, Janakshi, and Aabid. A special mention to Shubham for going above and beyond.

And to every single member of the property — always smiling, greeting us with “Adaab” — you made this stay truly unforgettable.

It was more than just a birthday — it was a royal experience filled with beautiful moments that I will cherish for a long time. Taj Falaknuma truly makes celebrations extraordinary.

Many places have 5 stars and some of them really don’t deliver….this one really does. Grand but not too ostentatious. The staff are exceptional-it would be impossible to single out any individual or team. Yes, it’s more expensive than the other hotels in Hyderabad, but you do get value for the stay. The breakfast is well worth it, but other food and drink is a bit OTT, but a quick Uber can take you to a variety of decent restaurants. Also, I would suggest avoiding the hotel airport shuttle, it is about ten times the price of a decent Uber! From talking to other guests, the semi-inclusive packages are much better value than buying room only and adding on.
But, whatever, this is a serious hotel and if you want 5 star you will get it!

You need to experience their service , care and support to understand what I am saying. Wonderful experience at a Palace Hotel. Great atmosphere, wonderful surroundings and being at a height gives one a beautiful sight at night.

Latha Suresh is a very good leader and has a good team consisting of Sunaina, Aruna, Punam, Kavya, Archana, Mr Rao, Elizabeth, Madhavi nd Paul/Peter. Why I mention these employees is because they have gone out of their way to make us feel at home, safe and secure and always willing to help. This definitely reflects of good culture they have imbibed. All the best to the Team Taj Falaknuma !!

It was an amazing experience at Taj Falaknuma Palace. It started off with a tour of the palace followed by a 5 course meal at Ada restaurant. Lovely food and lovely hospitality by Sumanth, Sudhakar and Nasar.
