Having been fortunate enough to experience many extraordinary hotels, destinations, and life’s finest luxuries across the world, I can say with confidence that Taj Falaknuma Palace is something truly exceptional - not merely a hotel, but a journey into history, grandeur, and heartfelt hospitality unlike anything I have ever known.

From the moment you ascend the hill and first lay eyes on this majestic palace, you feel as though time itself slows down. The history here is simply incredible. Every corridor, every chandelier, every marble floor whispers stories of another era. The magnificent suite, the serene spa, the gym, the crystal-clear swimming pool - all absolutely world-class - but what makes Falaknuma truly unforgettable is how it transports you back in time while surrounding you with modern perfection.

The historical tour made the experience even more profound. Walking through this restored jewel, hearing the stories behind the longest dining table, the first telephone installed in India, and countless other treasures, was mesmerizing. Learning how the Taj Group spent nearly 12 years meticulously restoring this palace to return it to Hyderabad in its full hilltop glory is deeply inspiring. They have not simply preserved history - they have revived magic.

A very special mention must go to Mr. K V Rao, who spontaneously offered to take the most beautiful photographs of us - memories that will forever capture this extraordinary experience.

But what is a palace without its people? Only a palace.

And here is where Taj Falaknuma becomes incomparable.

Under the exceptional management of GM Ms. Shahnaat, and with the remarkable dedication of - amongst others - Salman and the rest of the team we were made to feel not like guests - but like princes of the palace from the very first moment.

Their attention to detail was astonishing. Every preference, every small thing we liked, was remembered effortlessly. This level of personalized service is something even the world’s greatest hotels often aspire to, but rarely achieve.

A culinary highlight beyond words was when Head Chef Dinesh gave us the privilege of being among the first to experience selections from his new menu. For me, he recommended his signature vegetarian masterpiece: Gucchi Korma-E-Khaas - wild morels from the Himalayan forests, once reserved for royal tables, delicately simmered in almond and browned onion gravy, carrying the elegance of a bygone era in every bite. I have genuinely never tasted anything like it before. And because he remembered my love for chili and rice from two evenings earlier, he thoughtfully incorporated those elements into my experience as a surprise. That single gesture says everything about the level of care here.

Meeting the GM and marketing team, sharing wonderful conversations, and hearing firsthand how this palace was brought back to life made me appreciate even more what Taj has achieved here.

I could go on and on about this incredible place…

But for now, as I overlook the city from this palace above the clouds, I find myself thinking only one thing:

When will I return? And my biggest hope is to once again be welcomed by those same warm, familiar faces who made this stay so profoundly special.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Celeste. The food was excellent, and the service was truly outstanding. A special mention to Mr. Naser and Mr. Sudhaker for their warm hospitality, attentiveness, and excellent service. They made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Italian cuisine and a pleasant dining experience.

Room is so clean and good and the ambiance in the room is also good. Ansar and Sudhakar has took care of us very well.

Our experience of staying at Taj Falaknuma for a family holiday was amazing beyond words! The personal touch and love that was showered on us by the Team at the palace was just incredible.. We are members of Taj Epicuria and have stayed at most of Taj properties but this experience was beyond anything we have enjoyed at any Indian or international hotel yet.. My particular thanks to the F&B manager Nasar who went completely out of his way to make this holiday the most memorable ever..

Taj Falaknuma Palace is a great palace we got opportunity to stay..The staff who made our stay memorable by offering great Hospitality is Mr Gopal Naik and Duty Manager Mohammad Aabid and Bhanu Sree house keeping staff they made my wife’s birthday very special and I would like to revisit taj Falaknuma Again and Again 🥰. The Hospitality is top notch 10/10 very impressive 😍

I really liked the service . Sudhakar, nasar, sugar sir and jwala mam were really great and helped us out with the food opinions and much more. We really enjoyed our time there.

We did a one day stay at the Taj Falaknauma palace, kudos to Taj for the way they have restored the palace and maintained it, it’s like stepping back into history. It was an exceptional stay with the staff being helpful in every way possible. We had all meals at the palace which were truely good.

The culinary offerings are exceptional. I recommend an extended stay to fully experience our establishment, rather than a brief dinner visit.
