It was a short yet pleasant stay. The environment is beautiful and the ocean was perfectly warm.
Pros:

There was a variety of meals for breakfast and lunch. The food was well cooked. The beach and the bar was nice and enjoyable, including the swimming pools.

Cons:

There are too many flies in the restaurant...for a high-end hotel. The boathouse suite's stagnant lake should be drained and cleaned. It is a health disaster. The ridiculous prices for jet ski rentals: $60 for 30 minutes.

Food was great and some of the staff helpful and friendly

Cons:

The Mövenpick Resort Lamantin Saly has a beautiful setting and strong potential, but several issues during my stay were disappointing for a property at this level.

- Room maintenance: The faucet in my room was broken and leaking, which made basic use of the sink inconvenient and suggested a lack of timely upkeep.
- Service speed: Room service was extremely slow, with long waits that impacted the overall comfort of the stay.
- Aging infrastructure: Parts of the hotel, especially in the first pavilion, are clearly showing their age. Some walls and surfaces are in need of repair or repainting, which detracts from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

I appreciate the resort’s location and amenities, but to justify its positioning and rates, more consistent maintenance and faster, more reliable service are essential. I hope management addresses these points so future guests can enjoy the full experience the brand promises.
