AWOL Kennebunkport

We had the most perfect few days at your wonderful hotel! Everything was so easy, clean and beautiful. The bicycles were a nice surprise as were the afternoon cookies! We were sad to leave, but already looking forward to our next trip!

We stayed only one night at this Inn. I know they had to make due with what the rooms offer, but our bathroom was so small it was like you could brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet!
At any rate, staff is friendly and it's very walkable into town. We had to leave early, so we did not have breakfast.

Nice room. Surprised there was no bottled water in room when we arrive late. Breakfast hours are not told so we missed it by a few minutes. The young lady said she had nothing to drink….not even water. We asked about trolley and a couple other things and she told us to check in town. The hotel stated they had “personal concierge”, but we did not experience.
Overall nice room, but tiny bathroom.

Wonderful location. Host was very attentive. We stayed in main house. The little cabins looked very nice. We may stay in them next time. Will certainly stay there again.

Beautiful property. Our room had a fireplace as well as a private deck. Very good buffet breakfast as well.

Lovely property - we’ve stayed in the main house and in the cabins and both are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is great - plenty of hot and cold options. I would suggest having bottled water in the rooms.

Wouldn’t pay $800+/night.

The location is great. The rooms are… interesting. They looked great in the review photos, but ultimately they felt cramped, dusty and old (I stayed in a cabin outside the main home). Ours also smelled a little odd (like mildew and faint sewage smell).

The daily breakfast, though, is awesome. They also have bikes on the property that are free for guests to use which was very convenient. The staff were very kind.

Ultimately, this felt more like a renovated motel than a premium property. If you do book, go in with muted expectations and understand you’re mostly paying for the location. While we loved Kennebunkport, we won’t be returning here.

We stayed in top floor of main house. Furnished up to date farmy and Very spacious and sitting area loft. Delicious heslthy breakfast bugget. Free bukes.

The website is deceiving. i was under the impression i was booking a cabin only to find out after arriving it was a room up stairs in a house. very small and with numerous small stairs .. very difficult to get up with luggage

Lovely from start to finish! Brandi and Rosemary were so welcoming. We arrived early and Brandi greeted us, welcomed us to park onsite and texted us as soon as a room was available. Rosemary gave us a fabulous overview of the area, and we followed up on several of her recommendations.
Breakfast each morning was both a feast for both the eyes and the appetite. Location is walkable to shops and restaurants and a very short drive to local beaches. This was a second stay at a Lark property and we will definitely seek them out for future travel.

Great location

Mediocre property. Just another Lark property bought up by a private equity that owns most of the B and B’s in Maine. They destroyed what was once wonderful places to stay with all of their properties. The breakfasts used to take care and passion for cooking. Now they all serve the same continental food. Eh. I need to stop staying in Kennebunkport, even for the one night before heading north.
