Toruño del Rocío

The hotel is almost a throwback to spaghetti westerns. I loved it. Wifi worked perfectly and loved the flamenco band at the excellent bar next door. Beware of 40 degrees in summer, hotel air con was perfect though.

Hotel Toruño is a great place to stay wether you're there for Birds, the Doñana or just to experience unique El Rocio.

Excellent accueil, chambre simple mais propre et donnant sur la lagune. En fait en Septembre elle est toujours sans eau ce qui est surprenant. Mais rien à voir avec l’hotel. Personnel sympa et nous a aidé pour trouver les activités

Environnement surprenant amoureux de la nature je recommande

Village étonnant à découvrir avec son côté far west dans parc naturel qui mérite le déplacement.

Ok hotel in good location with good restaurant. No hot water one morning. Comfort only average but what was expected of a 2 star rating.

Great area for birding!

We have stayed at Toruno many times over the years but it has never changed and is now tired and dated and in need of modernisation and re-decoration. The room was clean, there was plenty of hot water and everything worked in the bathroom. The staff in the hotel are very helpful and can speak some English if needed. Breakfast was fairly basic. We did not use the restaurant as the prices are too high and, if you want to sit outside, the chairs are extremely uncomfortable! The location is great, which is why we keep going back.

Nice stay

This is a small hotel but very clean. Our room was tiny but beds were comfortable. Hotel is part of the religious complex at El Rocio and for that purpose it is centrally located. Hotel Toruno is also useful if one wants to visit the nature park of Donana. In fact, the hotel backs onto a lagoon that is host to birds like flamingos, spoonbills, black ibises, shoveler ducks--this in February--and many more species in migration seasons.

Just stayed one night, really friendly and helpful staff. We had booked a tour to Donana National Park and they packed us a breakfast to take since we had to leave early, they also kept our bags until we were ready to leave. Nice hotel, great location for bird watching, room overlooking the marsh was a plus. Would highly recommend.

The hotel staff were very friendly & accommodating.We went to El Rocio to visit Donana which it was very handy for.The food in the hotel restaurant was good.The view out of our window was onto the lake which had flamingo,spoon bills & glossy ibis on it was a plus

We wanted to stay in El Rocio as being bird watchers this is the centre of the Donana reserve.
Hotel Toruno was recommended to us and it turned out to be a brilliant place.
The adjoining restaurant and bar were superb, great ambience, fantastic friendly , but efficient staff and excellent food.
We stayed for 10 days in March and although the weather was not good, hotel and Restaurant Toruno made our holiday memorable!
