It felt like a home away from home and I will definitely stay again.
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff, excellent location close to everything including free tram and green spaces, very comfortable, quiet room, excellent facilities, city view

Cons:

The shower was over the bath and I found the surface slippery. This was resolved when I requested and immediately got a bath mat from housekeeping

Comfortable stay, great location, but a little dated and noisy in the morning, friendly staff
Pros:

Friendly reception staff and a quick, smooth check-in. We were upgraded free of charge, which was a lovely bonus. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was excellent, just steps from Chinatown, close to tram stops, and within walking distance of Melbourne Museum and Carlton Gardens (15 minutes). Useful in-room amenities included a microwave, fridge, small sink, plates, cutlery, and a bench to eat at. Tea and coffee were provided in the room, and free tea, coffee and iced water were also available at reception. Hot water pressure was great. Hooks in the bathroom.

Cons:

There was a safe in the room, but it was not working as the battery was low. There was some street noise early in the morning, and the building feels a little dated and could do with a refresh. The bathroom fan had to stay on and was quite noisy. The shampoo and body wash were also provided in refillable wall-mounted dispensers rather than individual bottles.

A rip off - don’t stay when F1 is in town.

Cons:

Musty, old and cramped accomodation in a good central location. It was ridiculously expensive for 1 room and three single beds - a total rip off as the Grand Prix was on that weekend and therefore they overcharged and under delivered. The towels weren’t changed and the room not cleaned on one day we were out all day/ night and we came home to filthy wet towels on the bathroom floor and unmade beds. I don’t recommend.

Pros:

Every staff member I interacted with were super friendly. Nicely outfitted kitchenette. I was able to extend my stay at the last minute (hours before I was supposed to check out) with no issue and staff were very accommodating.

Beautiful little hotel. Central to our needs. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Facilities were clean.

Cons:

Tea towel still had stains after laundering. That is my only “issue”. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Felt comfortable, relaxed and safe. It will be the first choice when I return for a multi day stay
Pros:

Great position close to Carlton gardens, a plethora of restaurants, excellent breakfast next door, close to trams, very close to stage shows. 24 hr helpful concierge also good.

Cons:

I only thought about positives, no negatives come to mind
