This was a really nice property that definitely exceeded expectations. Big spacious room, comfortable bed, impressive bathroom, and all above a bar that served a good range of food and drink. The central location was also a bonus. Can't imagine I'll be rushing back to Barrow anytime soon, but if I was I'd happily stay here again.

Staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough for you. The place was immaculately clean throughout. Finally the rooms are superb value for the money. They are well equipped and a fantastic size.

Lovely executive room-which was very clean but disappointed with a smell coming from the plumbing/ bathroom that lasted 2 days- we had to keep the window open.
The property is a nice classic old building modernised to a good standard without losing its character.
Lots of creaking floors in the room and hearing snoring through walls.
Room was comfortable, breakfast was fine.
Food in the evening was over cooked and service was very slow.
