Pros:

Close to the Beach and Restaurants

Cons:

We had been staying at Kirra Beach for 3 years.

We stayed at Kirra Surf apartments 2024 and our 1st stay was Excellent so we booked again.

This time they had upgraded us from a 2 Bedroom Ocean view apartment to a 3 Bedroom apartment without contacting us.

We checked into our apartment and the 2 back bedrooms were overlooking the Highway with traffic and paddock views.

We walked into the living room and only part of the apartment had a brief glimpse of the ocean the other half was looking at a Rotunda Building.

The only Ocean view was the Master Bedroom.

The air conditioning was broken and it was absolutely stiffling hot, both my Husband and I were sweating and felt very uncomfortable as there was no ceiling fans.

My Husband went down to see the Receptionist and asked if we could be moved to another apartment and he told the Lady its not the room we had booked on line with Booking.com.

She said that we must have booked it through air BNB, and my Husband said no my wife never books with Air BNB she always uses booking.com.

She said that they were sold out.

We saw on a piece of paper that if any problems after hours No. To call.

My Husband spoke to a lovely Lady Emily and she said that she would contact the Managers and she explained to my Husband how to reset the air conditioner.

He did this 3 times and it would work for a minute or 2 then it stopped.

I then got a call from Management and was told through no extra money that we were originally booked on the 1st Floor and upgraded us to the 3rd Floor to give us better views.

I said that it was a lovely thought but who gave you the right to upgrade us to a 3 Bedroom apartment without our permission and that we were disappointed with the non Ocean views and I explained the 2 single bedrooms had no views whatsoever and she argued with me, stating yes they do have ocean views.

Pros:

Kept well, good location and nice pool. Sandra at the front desk was wonderful, helpful and always had a smile.

Cons:

The suite was spacious and comfortable, balcony overlooking the pool was nice. Could have used a good clean before our arrival; the comforters and blankets were dirty right out of the cupboard. Showers stained with mold on the bottom of the door. Many lights were burnt out.

Beautiful view. Lovely clean apartment.
Pros:

Fantastic location with beautiful view of the sea. 7 minute walk to Our Tribe Cafe for an excellent breakfast with very good coffee. Sandra at reception was lovely. Convenient underground parking

Cons:

The thin toilet paper! Everything else was great!!

The apartment was incredible - the views of the beach, the freshness and natural light along with the amenities and space

The most incredible holiday, clean & modern accomodation, most amazing pool area & 41m from beach
Pros:

As a family we had the most incredible stay.
The beach is 41m from the apartment.
The apartment was super clean, spacious and catered to all our needs.
The pool is incredible, caters for both little kids and adults. The pool area had the most comfortable loungers with umbrellas. Such a gorgeous outside space.

Cons:

The nearest Coles is a 5min drive. Nothing in walking distance.
Double check the height and width of the provided security car park, unfortunately we have a very large car and struggled. But there is visitors parking near the entrance which we used.

Loved it. Spacious apartments, amazing views, friendly staff. Good value for money.
Pros:

We stayed in a 3 bdrm unit 901. Was very spacious and loved that the main bedroom was separate from the other rooms. Views were amazing. The balcony was spacious and where we spent most of our time.

Cons:

Nothing bad but the tv in the main bedroom was old . Only could watch normal tv. Do people still do that? A cheap smart tv that connects to WiFi would have been good so I could watch Netflix etc at night.

The main bed was so hard. Woke up with a very sore back. Depends what u r used too.

More cutlery would have been good esp for 5 people.

But seriously..... all my critiques are based on my comfort levels.

Lacking customer service and room needs TLC .Wifi was like back at school and waiting for to load up 1988 .Most people depend on internet,this major selling point .
