Prácticas de cobro indebidas y cancelación injustificada de reserva

No llegamos a alojarnos en este establecimiento y, a la vista de lo ocurrido, fue una suerte.

Realicé una reserva inicialmente para la noche del 7 al 8 de enero, error que comuniqué de inmediato. Las fechas correctas eran del 8 al 9 de enero y el cambio se efectuó sin inconvenientes. En el proceso de reserva seleccioné expresamente la opción “pago en el establecimiento”, opción claramente disponible en el momento de confirmar.

Sin embargo, a la mañana siguiente comprobé que el hotel había intentado realizar un cargo en mi tarjeta bancaria en tres ocasiones distintas. Afortunadamente, se trataba de una tarjeta de prepago. Resulta legítimo preguntarse por qué se intenta cobrar importe alguno cuando la modalidad elegida es pago en el establecimiento.

En ningún momento esta práctica aparece reflejada en la política del alojamiento. Lo sé con certeza porque soy recepcionista, conozco perfectamente los procedimientos habituales y reviso siempre las condiciones antes de reservar.

Al no poder efectuar el cargo, el hotel decidió cancelar unilateralmente la reserva apenas media hora antes de nuestra llegada, cuando ya nos encontrábamos de camino en el coche. Ante esta situación, contacté con el establecimiento y el empleado que me atendió alegó que el cargo era un “depósito para comprobar que la tarjeta tenía saldo” y que posteriormente se devolvía. Dicha explicación no figura en ningún apartado de su política de reservas, lo que deja muy en entredicho la transparencia del establecimiento.

Decidimos buscar otro alojamiento, algo sencillo dado que existen muchas alternativas mejores y más claras en sus condiciones. Cabe destacar que, antes de reservar, ya había leído reseñas de otros clientes que relatan situaciones similares: cargos realizados en el check-in pese a haber seleccionado pago en el establecimiento.

En definitiva, una experiencia marcada por falta de claridad, intentos de cobro injustificados y cancelación de última hora.

Devoir terminer le repas du soir à 21h chrono, c'était un peu juste , 21h30 serait déjà plus acceptable
