Lares De Chacras

A lovely small hotel on the edge of Chacras de Coria near Mendoza. We dined in the restaurant every night as the food was very good quality - steak and pasta being particularly good choices. Rooms are a decent size, well furnished with comfortable beds.

The hotel has its own vineyard and every evening they do wine tasting with little nibbles. Very enjoyable and allows you to try some different wines. They are also near numerous other wineries; we took an Uber to the Alta Vista winery which was a great way to spend an afternoon.

We had an early morning flight leaving the hotel at 5.40 am. The reception staff were there to say goodbye and give us a take away breakfast to keep us going. Again, very good quality.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The swimming pool is small but fine for keeping cool if you are sun bathing.

The room size was incredible, the wood gave it a very cabin vibe, I arrived with cold weather and it felt very much like I was back in the Rocky Mountains, a beautiful patio to my room, a good gym, hot tub and warm pool, autumn leaves, the staff where all incredible, I experience my Own private dining due to them being busy in the restaurant they set me up in the cellar, which was a moment to remember, all very helpful with ideas, places to eat, wineries to visit, the breakfast selection was amazing, I stumbled across it and wish that I had of not booked the rest of my stay already, or I’d of been staying every single night, the cozy fire place, wine on arrival, I absolutely adore this little slice of paradise and cannot wait to share it with my friends and family, and come back again soon! Maybe I’ll even cancel my last night and move back in for one more visit, thank you so much, the meal was amazing, the atmosphere, staff, surrounds xxx

Beautiful building and garden. Daily wine tastings and delicious breakfast. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice pool and gym and garden area! Would definitely come back.

Beautiful Hotel set in a quiet town just outside Mendoza, very comfortable rooms with lovely linen and a well appointed bathroom.
The atmosphere was quite friendly with the most delightful staff who are there for your every need, really lovely people. The restaurant was comfortable with a view over the gardens. The food was fantastic, a very good chef delivering excellent well prepared food. Before dinner all the guests are invited to have a glass of the hotel's own wine before dinner which was a very nice touch indeed.
We had a heated swimming pool that was well tended and very clean set in the gardens.
We highly recommend this hotel and would certainly visit again.

Highly recommend in every regard previously mentioned by others- convenient location, quality and cleanliness of accommodations , excellent dining, warm and serene I ambiance/vibe, and attentiveness to every guest. We were a family of 11 and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive to every single one of us. They even gave us the social room near the lobby to watch football and have a private dinner. Special thanks to everyone who works there including Gabriel, Gabriel, Camila, Ximena, Agustina, Juan and Jose.

I love a hotel that offers happy hour — not because I'm looking for a drink, but because it sets the stage for something rarer: calmness, reflection, and genuine connection. That spirit runs through everything here.

The rooms are well-appointed, the on-site restaurant is a pleasure, and a handful of excellent dining options are just a five-to-ten minute walk away.

What really makes this place special, though, is its location — it's an ideal base for exploring nearby wineries or hiking in the mountains.

If you're looking for somewhere to unwind and explore, I'd recommend it without hesitation.

Unglaublich schönes und angenehmes Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Haupthaus was sehr gross und geschmackvoll eingerichtet war. Sehr gutes Bett. Besonders bemerkenswert ist die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit des Personals. Hier ist man als Gast willkommen und das spürt man. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet!!

Such a special place. Beautiful setting, wonderful smiling staff who made us so welcome. Room so comfortable with lovely view of the garden and pool. Super hot tub. Loved the pink flower and card left in our room for International Women’s Day. Great location for wine tasting. Short walk to Main Street and shops. 20 min Uber to centre of Mendoza. Easy to walk around the city. Lovely park. Food at the hotel was delicious. A wonderful stay, highly recommended. Our best hotel on Argentina trip so far. Thank you so much.
