Clean and close for work
That it was a short stay
Very clean and roomy rooms. Great color scheme that made you feel comfortable.
Nothing
Staff were friendly and seemed glad to see us. Room was clean and everything worked well. Food was great. Overall atmosphere was pleasant.
This is the best Hampton Inn I have stayed at a very long time. It was very clean and and the breakfast was amazing. The room had a wireless phone charger. Everything in the hotel was well kept and almost looked like it was new. If we go North Dakota again we will stay there again.
I love this hotel and I highly recommend getting a King suite. It is very roomy, it has a couch for watching TV, the bed was very comfy and the spacious bathroom and nite lit that comes on when you have to use the facilities in the middle of the night is a plus. The breakfast is good and the hotel is clean and conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We've stayed here a couple times now and I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!
First, I would like to thank Hampton Inn.
I booked a night through Bookngs.com at the Hampton Inn at, what I thought was the Hotel in Watertown, South Dakota. When I arrived, the receptionist at the desk said there was no booking for us. He politely advised me to check my e-mail. He said that sometimes, people accidentally, book the Watertown Hampton Inn in another state. It turns out there are 5 Watertowns in the United States. I called the Hampton Inn in New York, and he, kindly, canceled my stay. I appreciated his understanding, and I appreciated his friendliness, as well as the friendliness of the receptionist in South Dakota.
Although all the King rooms were taken, he upgraded us to a king suite at no extra cost. It was late at night, and we were so grateful. Our room was wonderful, and the breakfast the next day was very good. The next morning, the receptionist was very friendly, as was the young woman working the breakfast area. Kudos to Hampton Inn for training their employees in such a way that they treat their customers with respect and kindness and understanding. We are happy to be members of Hampton Inn hotels chain.
Good hot fresh food
Had a great overnight stay.
Staff were all so nice.
Good advice on what to see in area.
Clean room
Quiet room
Will stay again if passing through.
Cannot recommend them enough.
It’s the entire staff that make it a great stay.
Rooms were nice and clean. The heater is a bit loud when it comes on, but thats a minor complaint. I had to check out at 5am to make an early flight and they prepared a to go bag with apples and bagels for me which was very kind.
Heater was a little loud when it would come on, but this did not detract from my overall satisfaction with the room and service.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay on Saturday, March 7th for 1 night. The property and service were perfect! However, my 1 major complaint, and it is nothing on Hampton Inn's part - something has to be done with the intersection at Hwy 212 and 10th Ave!! Arriving at Hampton Inn, our navigation brought us in at 29th St SE. Leaving Hampton Inn for a concert in downtown Watertown, our navigation took us out at 26th St SE near Culver's. However, coming back to Hampton Inn at 10:30 at night, our navigation took us in at 10th Ave SE near Applebee's and Buffalo Wild Wings. My wife and I drive in a 6" low clearance Honda Odyssey wheelchair, handicap accessible van. We also are not from Watertown. We came in from Marshall Minnesota for a concert. Coming in at 10th Ave SE at 10:30 at night with no street lights at this intersection, we bottomed out hard - see the attached photos. Once my wife in her motorized wheelchair exited our wheelchair van, we were unable to close the sliding passenger-side door. Bottoming out in this horrible construction spot / pot-hole damaged our van! The sliding door is now out of alignment, and we will have to repair it at a local repair shop. This intersection is unacceptable by the City of Watertown!! City of Watertown, please add an orange "Bump" sign at this intersection or a bare minimum add some orange cones!! I am hopeful that Hampton Inn, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees and other nearby businesses will talk to the City of Watertown to get this intersection repaired soon or at a minimum add some signage or cones to warn incoming traffic especially out of town traffic.
Wonderful stay. Breakfast was excellent . Pool was nicely maintained. Staff were nice, helpful
and knowledgeable. Beds were comfortable.
The hotel was clean and in a nice location.
There was no chair other than an office chair in our room. The bed was super hard and uncomfortable.
