The hotel is poor, and the room price is overpriced. The elevator has been out of order for some tim
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The hotel is poor, and the room price is overpriced. The elevator has been out of order for some time and has not been repaired, which made it difficult to carry the luggage to the room.

Fantastic food fantastic staff well worth the visit
Pros:

The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and central attractions plenty of parking which is chargeable at the property. The hotel itself is lovely very comfortable decor could do with a lift here and there but otherwise fantastic it has a higher end feel. As you walk into the foyer it has a homely feel about it. The staff are lovely you are greeted with a friendly face all the time. The breakfast is lovely plenty of choice continental, cereals fruit juices tea and coffee and of course the full English which is amazing. We opted for the evening meal to and all I can say is it was cooked to perfection plenty of flavour . This was the second time we have stayed there the rooms are spacious again could do with a lift on the decor here and there but comfortable and plenty of hot water when bathing or showering. Our room was lovely king size bed plenty of towels and of course the shower gels and shampoo etc provided. If you are going to Bournemouth for a holiday this hotel is well worth the stay !!! Already planning our 2027 holiday there

Cons:

Nothing not to like is lovely

Beds comfy shower pressure good nothing to complain about other then the parking charge
Pros:

It’s a nice little
Hotel

Cons:

The fact you spent over 100 pound a night for a room and they still charge 15 pound a night parking! I think that was diabolical

Not good at all
Pros:

The lounge area, although most of the time there was no staff for example to get drinks!

Cons:

There are areas that make it look very tired looking, examples paintwork especially on doors. More time spent on cleaning especially showers as my husband had to clean out the drainage in our shower which was totally clogged up and did cause an overflow of water into the rest of the bathroom.
Road noise was quite bad, even coming through windows, frames etc. need to be updated. We also had 2 nights and early mornings of noise from other customers, one night I did complain to the reception in the morning and lucky she said they had checked out. The next evening a guest had plonked herself at 2am in the morning on a chair that the hotel had placed outside our room with another chair and a small table, now although this may look nice it is not very practical as the lady was talking so loud on her phone, in the end I had to get out of bed get dressed and go and speak to her to ask her to move, I was not happy having to do this at that time in the morning.

Could be so much more if effort was made and staff looked like they wanted to be there
Pros:

The room was nice and spacious and bed were clean and comfy .

Cons:

The breakfast was ruined by the lazy staff member who couldn’t be bothered to serve , clear tables or replenish the juices or fresh meats and cheese , he was sat in his phone in the foyer .
He was rude and passive aggressive after asked for tie things he then said “ anything else “ in a sarcastic way ! I asked for a plate and he said “ what for” when I was trying to get a croissant for my daughter . Not what you expect for a £30
Breakfast .

Okay-ish. Not worth the price
Pros:

The location and general setting of the property, being made up of a few old houses. Felt cosy. AC seemed to work fine although we didnt use it much.

Cons:

It was not really a hotel, a small boutique hotel at best. The rooms were small, and damp (our room was on the ground floor) and spider webs were visible on the ceiling (2 were already dwelling there).

The central courtyard can get noisy if guests use it, and it woke me up at 3 am as some people were loudly chatting. There was no response from the reception when called to ask to resolve this, which was disappointing. There was no one at the reception either, so I had to ask the guests to keep it quiet myself (which is not ideal).

Wouldn't return. Big mistake booking here.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and did try to help when issues raised. The location of the hotel was good with short scenic walks to the sea front.

Cons:

We booked a double room for myself, my wife & our 1 year old who we brought a travel cot for. That was our first mistake.
Firstly parking is £15 per night which we wasn't aware of until the day before due to a message through booking.com we had a 3 night stay so was a additional £45 on top of what we paid.
Our initial room was completely unfit for booking out & nothing like the pictures or reviews may suggest. As you'll see from photos it has mould on the pictures, the carpets were badly stained and worn/ripped in places. The walls had paint peeling off them, mould around the bath/shower. Wonky/loose toilet seat.. the list goes on. That's without the things I'd class as "general wear and tear" like marks all over the walls and skirting boards. It wasn't suitable and just felt dirty especially since we were staying with a 1 year old child who would be crawling on the floors. I went straight to reception to complain and let them know we couldn't stay in that room. In fairness they apologised and said they don't usually get complaints about the room (I really don't know how) and that they would change the room for us and gave us some complimentary coffees while they found us something better which was nice. I went to view the second room before agreeing which I would also class as unfit and refused. The third room was actually a king size (The manager said one of there best rooms) and although it was tired and had some of the same issues (marked walls, skirting boards etc.) i agreed it seemed good enough for us to stay in at least on my initial look at the room. This was my second mistake and in hindsight we should have got a refund and stayed anywhere else.

It was a bad experience.
Pros:

I like hotel’s location.

Cons:

There was a rather unpleasant smell, and the room did not match the one in the picture. The air conditioning was not functioning properly; it cooled for a few minutes then heated up again. Dust was on the lights, the television, and the air conditioning unit. Additionally, there was a spider in the room. Overall, it was a bad experience and not worth what I paid.

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this property due to the very small rooms, expensive parking and disappointing locat
Pros:

The garden was nice

Cons:

The rooms were extremely small, especially the family room, which was far too small for a family and felt quite cramped. The parking charge was also ridiculous and added an unnecessary extra cost. Unfortunately, the location wasn’t great either.
