The dinner and breakfast were excellent and the room was comfortable. A good hotel for the final leg of a journey to Calais. The staff were very efficient and friendly and made us feel welcome.
The manager/owner who checked us in was abrupt to the point of rudeness and almost threw our room key at us. He couldn't have been more unfriendly or unwelcoming if he tried. He was a very poor ambassador for the hotel.

The decor of Logis hotels is sometimes a bit out of date but it's not something that really worries me!

The food and restaurant were very nice.Also the staff working there were polite and courteous.
The shower pressure was good.
The bed linen was clean and fresh.

The lighting in the room was dreadful.
The pillows were not good and the decor was from another era.
Dinner was very good, portions probably a bit on the generous side. Wine and drinks prices were reasonable. Waitress staff were very pleasant and helpful.
We were somewhat stressed as the car had broken down a mile short of the hotel and had to be recovered by RAC on Friday evening. We were therefore late arriving and just made it before end of dinner, somewhat begrudgingly the restaurant stayed open. The bed is a 4'6" and was quite cramped. Dreaded bolster pillow, not seen one of those for years
