Très beau lieu accueil excellent
Très bon accueil au coin du feu
Een oud gebouw met een mooie uitstraling.
Heerlijk gegeten.
Een heel vriendelijke eigenaar.
Great location in a beautiful town with a park right next door.
An old but very comfortable hotel in a lovely historic town. A really lovely outlook at the front with a view across the road to a pond with fountains and ducks. Cold beer on arrival on a very hot day and we were allowed to store our bikes safely in the bar overnight.
l emplacement est sympa, le diner très bon, avec un bon rapport qualité prix
À proximité de ce que l’on voulait visiter
Le logement n’était pas très propre
Cher pour ce que c’est
Étape correcte,
The breakfast was a typical French breakfast of yogurts, fruit jams boiled eggs and prosciutto .
But the 4 dinners I had excelled, were magnificent, and an amazing chef. I would give a Michelin standard.
BTW Olivier my host is a seasoned traveller himself, very worldly and intelligent, and fluent in English and French. So there are never misunderstandings.
I want to say what good value the experience was.
Great location, good parking and a very friendly manager.
Nothing
We were there to celebrate two 80th birthdays, the food was excellent as was the service. The bedrooms were clean and the bed was comfy.
We arrived early and it was raining, there was nothing open in Belleme and the you couldn't get into the hotel until 6pm. It would have been good to have been able to check in earlier and sat in the lounge for coffee.
The property is continually being improved. (This was our fourth stay). So it’s a mixture of old and new, character and functionality.
Spacious dining room with separate breakfast room off. Open to the public so not just hotel guests so locals use it which is also a good sign. The restaurant food is very good with a short menu, which means the food is fresh.
The staff are very accommodating, polite and have useful information regarding the area.
Perfectly positioned to explore Belleme and the local villages many of which are quite lovely. We really like Belleme with its lovely shops and architecture.
The outside could do with some coordination of furniture and kept tidy.
The rooms and beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Next to a lovely park.
The dinner in the hotel was awful and very expensive for what it was I would not eat in the restaurant. Shop bought salad, they had run out of chicken. The most expensive cheese that was quite old....
The rooms in the main hotel building were comfortable, clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. We liked the fact that there was a restaurant in the hotel. The food was enjoyable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was served in the conservatory with plenty of choice and refreshed regularly. The staff were friendly and helpful including the owner even though he was recovering from a fractured hip.
The room in the annexe was comfortable but had no ventilation as the window was too high to open.
Location
Cramped room
The breakfast was good and the overall quality of the meals was excellent
