Rude staff. Very bad check in experience

Overall stay, location, cleanliness.

Cons:

The staff in the reception was very rude. He was asking unwanted questions and treated us very badly. Also we got a room which was different from the one we booked. We booked a room with a double bed and we got a room with a double bed and single bed and the room was very congested. But the staff's behavior was the first thing. He was very rude.

Pros:

From the outside it looked like a nice place to be. Transport links were good. TV and tea making facilities in the room. (Although don't know if they worked as didn't use them). Small attractive garden with seating.

Cons:

Reception was what seemed like a cupboard with gap to speak through, not very inviting. The room we were given was dark, dingy, smelly and not at all what was indicated in the pictures online. There was hardly room to get round either side of the bed. Very little natural light coming into the room and due to there being a board at the window we couldn't get any fresh air into the room. The hotel and room did not feel inviting, welcoming or professional in any way, we wanted to leave as soon as possible. This was a complete waste of money and there is not one part of it that I could recommend to anyone. Save your money and book something more expensive so you don't need to pay for a second place to stay!!
