Manoir de Kerhuel

Booked a Cottage, on arrival told we had booked a room. We took out phone to check and on seeing that, the receptionist said, oh, sorry, yes you booked a cottage but we ‘upgraded you to a superior room’.

Some other waffle about the room being better and more expensive than the cottage.

Bottom line, the hotel made a unilateral decision to not give us the room we had booked and paid for. The Superior room was not more expensive than the cottage we had actually booked (on checking on their website).

Their ‘fine dining’ restaurant has zero flexibility for dietary requirements. Every person at a table must choose the same menu from their choice of 3… 59, 49 or 39 euro. No A La Carte possibility. You get what you get.

The ‘Superior room, was ordinary, simple and plain. We’ve had better and bigger in many hotels that were not ‘Manoirs’.

The staff is super friendly, kind and generous.
The location is ideal for people looking for a calm, relaxed stay away from the city noise.

Think about reserving a spot for dinner at the hotel restaurant, there aren’t any around the area.

Cadre splendide, calme absolu, confort total. Nous garderons longtemps en mémoire ce séjour hors du temps !

Très agréable séjour dans un bel endroit . Accueil et service attentifs .
Des réceptions pour mariage ou autre événement, si ils sont compréhensibles, devraient etre signalés à la réservation

Séjour en semaine de 3 nuitées très agréable, très calme. Le restaurant était excellent avec des plats vraiment originaux. La piscine dans le jardin en-dessous est un plus. La chambre était très spacieuse.
Un petit bémol : pas de ventilation mécanique fonctionnelle dans la salle de bains ; il fallait donc bien aérer par les fenêtres... pas difficile par beau temps...

Sejour agréable dans un joli cadre

Très bel endroit. Mais le ménage n’est pas fait dans les chambres occupées, cause COVID selon la réception. Très désagréable de se sentir piégé : il fallait l’annoncer sur le site afin que le visiteur passe commande en toute connaissance de cause.

Magnifique séjour. Personnel très agréable.
Le manoir est très beau et bien entretenu. Excellent repas au restaurant.
Seul bémol nous n ´avons pas pu utiliser la piscine

La suite pour une nuit en couple est absolument fabuleuse. Nous y retournerons sans modération....

Lovely chateau near Quimper accessed by a tree lined drive. Fab building, rooms great (we had a 2 story room for 2 adults and 2 kids), lovely restaurant with gastronomic food. A little pricey but probably worth it.
Lovely pool and tennis court. Great grounds for a wander

Thé entrance to the hotel was magical! The hotel and the view were amazing. The room we had was on the top floor with windows that were located at higher level. Otherwise the room was large. The inconvenience was that no one was available at front desk after 8 pm.
We had to call them. Beds were comfortable.

Penso che sia un peccato rovinare un vecchio castello con una ristrutturazione
interna che non ha assolutamente che fare con il bellissimo immobile del secolo.
I mobili, i tappeti, le sale...ma per il resto lo staff molto gentile e sicuramente un posto meraviglioso in un parco secolare.

Nous sommes arrivés à 17h à l accueil pour aller dans notre cottage on nous a expliqué que le cottage était pas prêt en compensation nous avons eu une boisson offerte sauf après 1h30 d attente ça commençait à faire trop sachant que plusieurs famille attendaient également. Nous avons eu le petit déjeuner offert pour les 2 heures d attente. SUPER!!!! Vers 19h le temps commençait à se rafraîchir donc pas pu profiter de la piscine même si elle était chauffée.

Très agréable. Point à améliorer :manque échelle d accès dans la piscine....

Avons passé quatre nuits dans cet ancien manoir magnifiquement rénovée, dans un
environnement calme et verdoyant.
Idéalement situé pour visiter la région ..

Personnel très sympathique. Chambre très confortable. Repas délicieux. Tout était réuni pour passer une excellente soirée.
