Stillvolles Hotel mit Schwächen im Wellnessbereich / Kinderhotel?
Pros:

Sehr schönes, stilvolles Design und eine insgesamt hochwertige Ausstattung. Das Essen war durchgehend sehr gut, besonders das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Beim Abendessen konnte man à la carte wählen – die Auswahl ist zwar eher klein, dafür aber qualitativ überzeugend.

Cons:

Das „Höhlebad“, weshalb wir das Hotel überhaupt gebucht hatten, war leider außer Betrieb – eine große Enttäuschung. Der an sich sehr schöne Wellnessbereich wurde zudem durch rennende Kinder und laut telefonierende Gäste stark gestört. Im Pool herrschte wenig Ruhe: Kinder schwammen mit Flossen, warfen mit Bällen und waren entsprechend laut. Die Badeaufsicht griff nicht ein und schien mehr mit ihrem Handy beschäftigt zu sein als mit der Situation vor Ort.

Der Saunabereich ist eher klein, und teilweise musste man anstehen, um überhaupt eine Sauna nutzen zu können. Zudem war der Bereich nicht entsprechend ruhig: Auch hier hatten Kinder Zutritt und warfen beispielsweise mit Eis aus dem Eisbrunnen, was den Erholungscharakter deutlich beeinträchtigte. Insgesamt wirkt der Wellnessbereich dadurch weniger wie ein Ort der Ruhe und Erholung, sondern eher wie ein Kinderbereich – aus unserer Sicht sollte das Hotel entsprechend klarer als Kinderhotel ausgeschrieben werden.

Ein weiterer negativer Punkt: Viele Liegen waren mit Handtüchern reserviert, die dazugehörigen Gäste erschienen jedoch oft nicht. Dies wurde vom Personal nicht kontrolliert oder unterbunden, wodurch es für andere Gäste schwierig war, freie Liegen zu finden.

Auch an der Poolbar war die Auswahl aktuell sehr eingeschränkt – es gab lediglich Heineken, ohne weitere Bieroptionen – das entspricht aus unserer Sicht keinem 5-Sterne-Niveau.

Zusätzlich haben wir unter dem Bett eine Jacke gefunden, die eindeutig nicht uns gehörte. Das wirft die Frage auf, wie gründlich die Zimmerreinigung tatsächlich durchgeführt wird.
